A lot of people seem to forget the cirumstances that led to Howe missing out on Europe last season. I don't obviously. Two seasons without Europe for us might not even be a sackable offence, yet some people are suggesting it's a sackable offence for Howe when Newcastle were in the Championship 5 years ago.
