We were missing 3 first team defenders to be fair. Rojo unavailable too. One more centre back is needed.
-
You just compared Di Maria to Loic Remy man. Catch yourself on. There's an image a couple of pages back that shows you why he's worth that in todays market.
-
Di Maria has passed his medical.
-
He had a very good season with us in 12/13.
-
I bet Moyes wouldn't have minded him dating his daughter. Zero danger of penetration.
-
That's a typo though. I know who the Goddamn Boston Red Sox are.
-
My concern with shitting on Cleverly is that I'm absolutely certain where he's going to play next. Pet hate.
-
He's completely devoid of confidence. Under Fergie we were hammering teams with Anderson and Cleverley in midfield. I don't know if that means there's a decent player in there somewhere though or Fergie just rolled the piece of shit in glitter before each game. He's much better than Obertan if that helps.
-
I had faith in him for a long time. I don't like turning on our own players. He's unbearably bad now though. I hate him. I'd piss in his sisters dinner if I could.
-
We apparently offered Welbeck as well and they turned him down.
-
First he doesn't accept my trade and then he scores 34 in a single week. Fuck off Ameritoon.
-
Liverpool have no chance of winning the league. I expect City an Chelsea to be at least 10 points clear of the rest at the end, with City winning it.
-
Same. Keeping him in for the next match though. I wouldn't be surprised if he's dropped. Evans and Rojo will be available for Burnley, and Blackett is a natural left back who is playing very well at the moment.
-
Cruciate ligament. Will be back soon though I imagine.
-
My sources () tell me that Everton are interested in taking Cleverley on a season long loan.
-
And us? Just curious. I don't know I'm afraid. I imagine it's around the same as ours or even less.
-
In the last 4 years we have brought in £1.3 Billion in revenue and spent £164.1 mil on transfer fees though (before Di Maria). 13% of revenue. During the same period: City - 53%, Chelsea - 32%, Liverpool - 30%.

Carrick is excellent at intercepting the ball but he's such a fanny when it comes to tackling. We'd get steamrollered by top teams in midfield if Carrick was the holder.

I'm curious too. LvG mentioned he adopted the 3-5-2 as he will be able to fit more players into the system. But with the few CBs and the fact that they are going on a spending spree anyway, why not play his familiar 4-3-3 and buy players to suit that system? Because he'll have to push Rooney out wide or drop Van Persie entirely. He wants everyone to play in their best positions. So will it be Di Maria in CM or at LWB, if so? CM I hope. Rafael Herrera Shaw Mata Di Maria Rooney Van Persie Herrera does love to put a foot in, but you would have to say that team lacks a bit of steel. It's why I'd be very happy if we signed De Jong.

This stuff was well before my time. I must have read through it all at one stage.
