We are not looking a very good fit for Almiron, he would be much better in a team that has more possession and attacks more. He must be getting frustrated. I know this is stating the obvious.

I think a lot of supporters would have very mixed feelings about Rafa staying under Ashley without a whole series of cast iron guarantees about investment in players, the academy, the training ground and St. James Park. Unless Rafa gets them which I'm sure he won't, the quicker the whole thing blows up and burns to the ground the quicker we get rid of Ashley. With Ashley as owner there is no fucking point at all to this shell of the club that we love and in my case have supported for 50 years.

Still for me what's worse is that we continue to give teams possession all the time and rely on them not being good enough to get past our defence. How about we try and impose ourselves on the opposition, take the game to them, try and get more than 40% possession and use the attacking players we have to try and win games, not score 1 against the run of play and then defend for the rest of the game.
