  1. Impressed with Copenhagen. Very well coached with a sprinkling of very intelligent players. Like the look of that left winger in particular.
  2. ?? Very true (but not direct). You’ll need to change at Penrith. There seem to be concerns about some services/weather that day (Thursday) also according to LNER. Hope all goes well for him ?? Would maybe make sense to hire a car for a few days if he can drive for how much he’s planning on paying for taxis and trains and certainly would get more out of The Lake District that way? ??‍♂️
  3. I shared this on here the other day suggesting he’d been hired… ? https://x.com/nickdemarco_/status/1714724649806737539?s=46&t=DDNXUN2PoOBhgKmoF77zNw
  4. Did he have Nick DeMarco on the case? ? I no nothing about Fagioli as a player and his contract and transfer value (?) but I wouldn’t be surprised if we got our top boy on the case.
  5. Reading between the lines I’d say someone in the box office/club has been up to no good ?
  6. For no reason whatsoever but I don’t see his ban being that long. Would love to be a fly on the wall regarding what legal positions we are talking with the activity when under contract with a different club & FA.
  7. No problem. You can always come back to me if you change your mind ?? You will be talking 3 figures for your Uber I'd imagine. To give you an idea my train was cancelled on that route last year or year before (quite a common occurrence) and with it being the last one I had to ring the train company to complain and they ordered me a taxi (Corbridge to Gateshead) and that was £70+ then before cost of living increases. Other friends booked their own that night and that company charged them £90+ for practically same journey same night. Those journeys were 23-25mile. Yours is going to 38-40mile so I repeat I’d advise against it but your call. If you can get hold of one (you’ll need to check in advance) the journey will be around an hour. Also when you are saying The National Park are you referring to The Lake District? If so Carlisle although roughly in that area isn’t particularly a straightforward transit. You really need a car to get around The Lake District. It doesn’t really have any great train links and buses will be slow and infrequent. Carlisle itself has very little to offer other than a canny night out Fri/Sat around Botchergate. I’d strongly advise you to rethink your plans ??
  8. Just really confirming what others have already shared… Last train 21:25 so you’d need to be out the ground by 21:05 and pre paid your ticket and still need to be brisk as it’s quite often the furthest platform from entrance. It’s currently marked up Platform 9. Next train is 5:42 Thursday which even maximising the late drinking hours at certain places you’ll be left a long layover in the station. If you are able to i’d cancel your hotel in Carlisle and book somewhere in Newcastle/Gateshead instead for the night and get a train next day like others have suggested. Don’t think getting the 22:53 to Hexham a viable alternative as taxi from Hexham to Carlisle would cost you a fortune. If you are really stuck I’ve a spare room at mine (Gateshead) you can use if you want to meet on the night as I’ll be out with a few on here pre & post match. Can drop you back next morning in Newcastle for your site seeing/train if need be. Good luck ?? Happy to help if stuck ??
  9. There’s definitely a narrative battle going on over this on social media from both sides of the fence.
  10. Thought it was very unlike of EH to discuss anything like that ??
  11. I agree. If true. Does have a hint of “doth protest too much!” Email the club. Wait for income and if not sorted make it public. People are right Fannie’s at times ?
  12. Is it true he’s confirmed we are interested in Phillips?
  13. For those needing to plan well in advance just a reminder the Reds ?v? Blue will coincide with a home game either last weekend of March or one of the April fixtures. Also Yorkie pointed out to me next year will be the 10th anniversary of the Lockwood Cup so hoping to make that a successful one if we can usually to coincide with a home game in October latest.
  14. If you ain’t comfortable in going to a box office to sort your ticket out knowing you’ve nothing to hide I’d suggest that attending away games isn’t for you. The fact that you’d of had to of attended many away games previously to be in a position in the first place to have any points removal repercussions would also suggest you’d have no issues navigating a trip to the box office. There really is no excuse to avoid it unless you’ve something to hide. If you are angling this 1% is because of fear of being attacked (?) you could just head there a minute after KO when all the home fans are inside the ground. Ideal? No but again after making a long trip you’d still sacrifice opening 5mins of game if you are the genuine ticket holder than not attend at all. Reality anyway is you’d be offered an escort to the box office if the policing of this is coordinated with the hosts.
  15. If you genuinely want to go to the match and your ticket isn’t working then you are going to go to the box office for assistance to get it sorted after travelling all that way. Accompanied or not. Rewind back to last season if your ticket didn’t work you wouldn’t just shrug your shoulders and head home. You’d seek assistance and be lead or shown to the box office.
  16. I’d say it’s clearly only those that tried the ticket at the turnstile.
  17. Ditto unfortunately. Would’ve been interesting to be part of the conversation.

  19. Just had a kid start of season. Similar to Bruno these things take their toll when margins are so fine.
