You can’t compare Spurs with NUFC. This is where we seriously do ourselves a disservice as a fanbase. Spurs can do this because they just built a new season from 36,284 to 62,850 giving them flexibility to put such things in place without too much outcry. We were selling out our current 52,305 when we plodding along under Rafa. That’s why the only solution to ticketing issues is to expand the ground massively or build a new one preferably far greater as anything else is just sticking a band aid on the issue.

My worry with Silva is letting his agent anywhere near our club. Picking a player with great character is very important but not far behind is the agent also. Not keen on Mendes though I know there are possibly worse.

Think (don’t quote me) UEFA FFP is a wages/turnover issue whereas EPL FFP is spending via transfer fees which we’ve pretty much maxed out on both.

I think it’s been a great window on paper but only time will tell come next May. Main thing for me was the club to try which they have by maxing out our FFP. I didn’t want us to spoil the squad harmony with a high turnover and also with disproportionate salaries for new players which they’ve seemed to adhered to both. I would highlight that people need to not get too bogged down with exact positions being filled as it seems clear one of the prerequisites of a EH signing is versatility so as the season goes on his signings might play in positions maybe not what was originally expected.
