MYM can defo match him for pace. Think Taylor would be more likely to get to a header tbh. When people in the media talk about our front line, they always go on about how much pace they have. I don't get it. Agbonlahor, yes, obviously, but Benteke and Weimann aren't particularly pacy. Weimann is pretty rapid... Benteke less so but no slouch...

Andy Cole has grown...

Canny night... Fantastic attendance... Dabizas MOTM with Solano runner-up... Di Canio played well for them and Maldini and Baresi still quality... As for the bad points the announcer couldn't be heard in the Gallowgate end so lost track of all the changes and thought the linesman were over zealous and would've been nice to see a few goals... Glad i went after not bothering with the Shearer game...

Fair point this. If there's one thing we don't need it's creativity and goals from out wide. We're all sorted for set-piece delivery too. Remember when we had a choice of Solano Robert and Viana to take set pieces... And Shearer...

Heard someone talking about his heal injury when he first picked it up... Apparently it can be a nightmare to recover from and in some ways it never goes away apparently so could keep recurring...

Speed was underrated though, whereas I think everyone always knew what a class act Lee was. When Speed played for us, he used to get a fair bit of stick from the crowd. I am sure a lot of the people who used to do it would never admit to it now given the tragic circumstances. Speed was woeful for his first six month at the club whilst he was played as a left winger... It was only when he switched inside that he began to justify his transfer fee... Probably didnt help that he replaced Ginola... Rarely remember Rob Lee having a bad game for us...
