Agree... Ben Arfa is best on the right cutting in... Marveaux possibly a better number 10 than Cabaye...

I'm surprised no one (to my knowledge) has mention he was on loan to Lille for a year whilst YC & MD were still there... 2 goals from 14 appearances... He was a kid then tbf, this season has been his break through season. You could argue that he's a bit unproven and might be a case of having one good season like any one is capable of but i'd argue that he's young and he will just get better from here on in. I'd be delighted if we signed him tbh. I agree... Wasn't having a dig at his record that year just surprised no one has made the usual comments about him knowing YC & MD and how that could be in our favour when trying to do a deal... Sure I read it earlier, sorry Maybe worth his own thread?...

The two things that used to annoy me about Dyer was... 1. His short passing was never played along the ground with care... He used to pitch it up shin height forcing the receiving player to have to take an extra touch. 2. He couldn't play a 20-30 yard pass into space so he would carry the ball 15 yards and play a 5-10yard pass to a player now completely surround by the opposition. He was rapid... And could play a good short defence splitting pass so he did have some vision and a decent finish on him...
