Michael Chopra? Howay man. McCormack's done well at every team he's been at and has 66 league goals over the last 3 seasons. He played on the wings a lot for Leeds too after Snodgrass left, otherwise he'd probably be hitting around 20 a season the past 5 year. No idea how he would have done in the Premiership like, I don't think it's worth guessing when Jamie Vardy comes up and rapes the league*. Darren Bent was probably a far better striker mind, I just don't think they're that similar. EDIT: *although like Sewelly says he is pretty one paced, where as Vardy is the exact opposite.

Quite enjoyed reading the "How long do you give Ranieri?" thread on their forum earlier. I hope that was just one nutter?

Like a millionaire football manager could be fucking arsed with calculating such a scheme, man "Oooo, I'll have a walk round Gateshead in the rain for a bit, that'll get loads of likes on Twitter!!"
-
Having a walk up to the angel in the pissing rain seems like one of the absolute last things I'd want to do like
-
You managed to choose the worst out of the 3 like.
-
The fuck is the point of that keeper
-
I watched him a fair bit for Leeds and I dsagree like, works the channels and has the ability to run at defenders and brings his teammates into the game well, he's not a poacher. Villa didn't need him though, Kodjia looks a great buy.

McCormack has been really good in the past like, the only contention is his age (30). He's a fairly prolific striker in this league and he's good on the ball. Like Pilko says they needed a midfield though, not another striker. EDIT: Not aimed at Ian.

Since people were moaning about him being poor in-front of goal in the first half against Norwich. http://i.imgur.com/poNTr3X.png

He's a good right back and we have Yedlin in too, I'd be in no hurry to replace them tbh. Think Gouffran will get a new contract too.

it's almost impossible to be wrong when you just maintain an anti-Pardew agenda like, he's great. Was so obvious how bad this transfer was though. Decent player going through a purple patch, he'd have been very good this season with us but he was never going to continue that run of form, especially not under a faltering Alan Pardew.
-
Cannot see any reason he won't continue to score in the Premier League like. He's on course to score about 40 goals as it is down here
-
Think he's made a few clangers this season already (Green). Darlow gets more handsome every time I see him.
-
Shaqiri's against Poland was the best of the last year though imo, fuck knows why it's not on.
-
Of a similar type, Adam Armstrong's goal against Preston was a lot better than Robson Kanu's like.
-
"I am a Tory and I really like David Cameron." What a horrific sentence.
-
Showed with the 2nd goal what he can do like, same against Cardiff putting Mitrovic through for Atsu's goal. Clinical as well - the talent is definitely there. That said he's really good in flashes and has the odd game where he goes berserk but is anonymous quite a lot.
-
Quickly becoming my favourite player like. He has a proper swagger about him, even after being sparked clean out.

Again: In spite of whatever you might say about Poll I imagine he's probably in a better position than me or you to discuss what referees are told. By all means though just stick your fingers in your ears and keep on repeating that deliberate means deliberate even though it's obviously never meant that in football.

The 'natural sway of your arm' argument doesn't really work when you're diving in to block the ball. He makes a situation where his arm is out away from his body when he knows the ball is coming his way, it's his choice. He didn't deliberately stop the ball with his arm, so it's not a penalty. There is no way in that short distance with the ball travelling that fast he'd have the time to think and put his arm in front of the ball (also noting his arm was stationary throughout and didn't move towards the ball). There is no argument here, it's just simply not a penalty. no argument. From Graham Poll The rules are nowhere near as simple as you're making out like, otherwise there would literally never be a penalty given for handball. From the FA's website: http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/lawsandrules/laws/football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconduct#WQQIIAOeJPSscHJY.99 Because "refs have given them before" doesn't make it a penalty, or mean it should even be discussed as one. Previous bad calls do not set a precedent to start giving penalties. The laws of the game in this situation are pretty clear, there is absolutely no reason to give a penalty in that situation. It's not even close to being a penalty. Christ almighty, so because the rules are as you interpret them, despite there being numerous examples of professional referees interpreting them differently to you, there's no argument and no discussion despite this being an argument and this being a discussion. Also known as the 'la la la not listening' method. Aye, anyone who's followed football over the past 3 year or whatever it is since the rules were 'changed' would have seen that referees give penalties for non-deliberate handballs all the time and they're never punished or picked up on it. Only pundits and fans arguing about what or what isn't 'deliberate handball' as it's obviously not the literal definition. In the game we've just watched for example Hayden was given handball near the end for the ball bouncing up off his hand Talking about interpretation, I like Firgures' interpretation of "The position of the hand does not necessarily mean that there is an infringement", somehow taking it to mean "the position of [the] arm is irrelevant." I would personally say the position of Colback's hand was highly relevant tbh
