Well-worked chance off second ball, but Murphy puts header back across too close to Cech.
-
Cech playing it out again today very unconvincingly.
-
Good first 10 minutes. Another wicked whipped in Ritchie left footed cross (see Spurs game goal), but noone reached it.
-
City already beating Fulham. Sane goal from Seri error.
-
Early appearance of the set penis. Unsuccessful again.

Gini away goal. Vorm slow to react to something very central. Poor goal for Spurs to concede after keeping out Liverpool early. Liverpool are one team you do not want to play on the counter against you.

What is this nonsense? Just because it's not shown live in the UK doesn't mean it's not shown to millions and millions of people around the world It's the main match over here tomorrow, pre/post-match studio talk and all. Yes, I know. I get it live on Dazn myself here in Japan. My point is that games on live in the UK are still higher profile. Referees were famously told to protect the PL brand and it is clear that the vast majority of pundits do so, expecting little clubs to be swatted aside by the establishment. I bet it is easier for refs to not give decisions to the bigger clubs when the TV cameras are not there. With live tv there, any incident will be hyped up as a talking point.

Arsenal conceded twice against Cardiff, something both us and Huddersfield didn't do once with 10 men. We didn't even give them a sniff. I'm looking forward to this, and hoping it doesn't come down to individual brilliance, which means them not us, or some crappy decision that real VAR would reverse but VAR on trial will only point out. No live TV cameras, which should help too. No need for Probert to "protect the PL brand". Good news about Shelvey and Ritchie.

It would be something, but considering it's another fixture where we will be heavily outgunned it's not something we can bank on. It's the Cardiffs and Brightons we need to be getting points from, preferably all three. Yeah, patience will be a virtue with the hand the fixtures computer has dealt. Even if Kenedy had scored the penalty at Cardiff, we'd still be behind a point a game.

Class The thought of Wright in clothes Cheick bought him. Love reads like that. Even more so for Wright, who's gotten a bit of a 'Dr Death' label at times with our terrible past injury record. But it says it all that every manager has kept him on, including Kev, Sir Bobby and Rafa. Yeah, great read. I must admit I had Wright in the Terry Mac/Shola category of lingering mediocrity, but I am pleased to be proved wrong.

I'll put my hand up as someone who was foolish enough to think we'd spend the Mitrovic fee. If we are not going to spend any money at all, then yes, every member of the squad is likely to be better than their replacements. Especially members of the squad who can be sold for high fees.

Looks like a matter of time before one leads to a goal. 1-0 to the Arse just now.

The Cardiff performance was much more concerning. We can do the organised and hard to beat thing fine. Absolutely no worries about that. The Pardew and McClaren hammerings are a thing of the past. The problem is when the opposition wants to kill the game and maybe only try at set pieces, and its up to us to take control of the ball and create openings against two banks of four. It's then we see the parcity of the resources Rafa is working with.
