  1. While this may be an unpopular view, I don't see what the boo's are going to achieve. It's not going to make Ashley/Pardew leave, it's not going to get Hughton back in charge. We need to get behind the players to try and push them on. If we want to make a protest, do it by singing Hughton's name, not by booing.

    Alan Pardew

Alan Pardew is better than Alex Ferguson and will bring more success to us than Fergie brought to Man Utd. I'm also not a compulsive liar.
  3. The only logic I can really think of as to why Hughton was sacked is that Ashley is going to give the manager some money to spend in January and would rather give it to someone other than Hughton, that has probably already been lined up. But then it's a lot more likely that there's no logic behind his decision and we'll be spending little to no money in January, which makes the former part of this post completely irrelevant.
  4. With Ashley, that's a very plausible suggestion.
  5. Because he's not Pardew You are aware our chairman is Mike Ashley, not Corleone?
  6. With a man at the top that'll give you very limited resources to work with, and then if you do a good job with those limited resources he'll sack you anyway, no, I don't think we can attract a decent manager.
  7. How the f*** can you justify sacking a manager for taking a team with Smith, Guthrie and Ameobi in the squad to 11th in the PL. F***ing joke

    Football pet hates

Just out of interest, why Atlético? I've always liked them for some reason unbeknown to me.
  9. Leeds fans I know still love him, after it was revealed why he joined Man Utd, which was after the friendly at SJP hence why they still boo'd.
  10. Hughton's done a good job with the squad we've got. To say he should be sacked is absolute s****. With regards to the upcoming fixtures, we picked up 10 points from Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton and Villa, 4 of the better sides in the league. There's no saying we can't pick up points in the next few games.
  11. I'd like No.64, either home or away. I think we'll end up away to Everton though.
  12. a y tube opinion, but I wasnt impressed. By the same token, Jonathan Legear looked just the player we need. We were linked with him a few weeks ago. Has anyone heard any more? there was a kid (striker) from groningen aswell. He denied any knowledge of transfer interest in him: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11678_6526477,00.html
  13. We were capable of finding 'short-term' managers in the Premier League, two/three of them infact, i don't see why we can't find an assistant to tide us over until the contract issues are sorted. Or they could just give Hughton a f***ing contract. Two birds in one stone, style. That's a much too logical and simple solution. We need something more complex and drawn out, Ben Arfa transfer style.
  14. £10 e/w as in a £20 total or £10 total? Either way; I imagine most bookies would pay out for a tie, never had one myself though so some might just void it. More than likely you'd be paid out in full though. £10 total/£5 stake: For placing - £5 * (20/4) = £25 profit + £5 stake returned For winning - £5 * 20 = £100 profit + £5 stake returned £20 total/£10 stake: For placing - £10 * (20/4) = £50 profit + £10 stake returned For winning - £10 * 20 = £200 profit + £10 stake returned Hope that explains it
