Yeah his unraveling comments are a far cry from the composed, measured Slot of last season. Since it’s gone tits up he’s completely lost all that never mind throwing in loads of petty jibes and commments. I quite liked him initially but the petty comments stuff about nufc and the tedious comments about other teams tactics playing long ball etc (Man U at home) I just think “oh fuck off mate”. You’ve spent a barrel load of cash, it’s going tits up and you don’t look like you know what to do about it.

I’m not convinced Slot has the pedigree to turn the situation around, he looks a bit lost. You can’t spend 400m then start saying you’re missing a Jacob Murphy type player, that’s not exactly going to wash with Liverpool fans.

Absolute nonsense, you can bring in relatively low cost high quality AND higher profile quality at the same time.

Forest and Brighton are examples of good scouting and bringing quality in for relatively low cost.

I agree but a massive contract offer from City, CL, title tilt means we are at risk of losing him. Tonali falls into that bracket too.

Tonali and Tino are the two big players who are most at risk of leaving I think.

Agree about summer window. Next summer should be about improving the first 11 and improving quality over depth (though we do need depth at full back)
