Funnily a Mackem lad I did my physio degree with and who used to coach kids football got so sick of this kind of thing at the stadium of light he basically stopped going

His crossing was a lot better today and he āseemsā like heās heading in the right direction. He does do some odd things though, loose passes and strange decisions. He definitely looks like heās trying a bit too hard and trying to get over a confidence issue and I just donāt get people whoād sit and berate him in the ground. He could really do with a goal though to help him along. Iām still confident weāll see a much better player second half of the season but I agree with a comment able that Iām not sure heās our answer on the RW moving forwards. I see him as another option with a new RW coming in and maybe Murphy being moved on. Expensive squad player addition if thatās the case though.

Thereās an unfortunate number if massively entitled reactionary fans now. Thatās probably the case for lots of clubs to be fair too though. -
Barnes will start the next two games

It does seem sadly one of those situations where a player gets a bad injury and then multiple injuries follow which affects his game and consistency. Frustrating.

Well summed up. Felt like today we were crying out for another striking option which is thankfully on its way.

Continually throw away leads, not good enough. We also donāt put teams away when weāre on top, need to be more ruthless. I thought we were pretty poor at times tonight, Miley looked pretty meek away, needs to do better with his chances, quite a few players looked flat, Murphy poor too. But we simply arenāt learning to put teams away like, so fucking annoying.

Players like Kudus mean theyāll always carry a threat but our midfield should over power theirs and we look up for it at the moment with the likes of Barnes and Woltemade scoring. -
I watched his YouTube highlights, what a great type of player to bring into the mix.

I think heāll go very strong v spurs and rotate more for Burnley -
Agreed, 15-20 mins v Burnley. His pace when off the bench for a bit will give the attack and team a tactical boost.

They are looking pretty brittle even if they are better away from home. An early goal or two and theyāll fold.
