DLC permanently injured and no Richarlison this time = major issues

Botman proves its not now or never but I get your point. We were clearly interested but it depends whether Leicester are willing to sell at a reasonable price this Jan and this is why I think it might happen in the summer. Just my opinion though.

This will be properly lairy, defo be some trouble around the ground -
I think we’ll still go for him but I think we’ll probably get him next summer.
-
I think if they can get someone who adds more firepower in this window and the fee is realistic and attainable they’ll go for it. Young right back likely too. Shelveys injury might make them have a think about misfield too.

He’s just so much better than Dubravka

Leicester City 0-3 Newcastle United (26/12/2022)

I can’t wait to go there -
Fucking lethal this guy. Can’t wait til Isak or ASM (fully fit) on other side

Its plain common sense from a properly run football club vs the car crash we’ve seen from knackers here in the past. I work as a physio and while I don’t work in football or even elite sports I can imagine how difficult and challenging it is to get someone back to that level after several months out. I think we’ll see him fairly soon all being well.
-
Also Isak has played so little he will almost be like a nee squad addition. Throw in Saints absence for months and if you get them back regularly we have far more options in the final 3rd.
-
It would be a shame if we didn’t bring in at least 1 first team starter but I think bringing two in is hampered by FFP. Even one player in the 40-50m might run us close. I’d imagine it might be one potential starter and then 1 or 2 more but like Harrison Ashby type players. I might also be talking complete bollocks ?

We won’t know for certain but from what Howe said he’s running and kicking a ball but that isn’t full training with the squad. You’d imagine if he gets a couple of weeks or so full training with the squad then he’ll be involved which is why The Shef Wed game or Fulham seems more likely.
-
If that was to start happening you’d probably see Howe walk. Not a chance he’d want Ronaldo anywhere near the squad, he’s a social hand grenade ffs
-
Exactly which is why we get his return exactly right. I don’t think we’ll bring in a striker this window so it’s imperative we get Isak back fit. It’s exciting that we’ll be able to add him to the mix fairly soon even if it’s a role off the bench initially.
-
Thigh muscle injury which he re injured and therefore why they’re being extra cautious. Howe says he’s back running and kicking a ball so he’s probably close to full training and they’ll probably want a couple of weeks of that. I think he might return in some capacity for FA cup match and then hopefully Fulham home which is 3 weeks away. Id rather they were extra cautious and not bring him back too early. Must’ve been really difficult for the lad so the fans will be really important when he returns.

This draw will be really interesting for us, one game away from semi-final ?
