  1. Ha maybe. I think that’ll be Howe’s preferred 3 to be honest and particularly away from home. Saint might get a start against low block teams at home with Isak the other side.
  2. The irony is ASM was getting 2 or 3 on him now it’s Miggy as you say. We’re yet to see two dynamic wingers/wing forwards playing consistently together to creat space whatever combination that is from ASM/Isak/Miggy
  3. Definitely need him and Isak against a low block Leeds type situation.
  4. I don’t necessarily think or know if they’ve fallen out, I just think how the team is evolving might not include him moving forwards. I still like him as a player.
  5. I think Isak takes that LW forward position in the next few weeks. ASM will possibly be used against a low block at home and as in impact sub away but I think that’s his role now. The way we play, organised and pressing from the front I just don’t see him starting regularly moving forwards. A more conventional left back who has pace to cover fast wingers and Joelinton covering left midfield might change things slightly in terms of him starting more but I think he’s gone in the summer.
  6. I’m certain we’ll at least sign a midfielder. Jan window usually hots up later in the window anyway when the haggling starts.
  7. Plenty players need a rest but we should still have enough to beat them ffs. Isak May make an appearance but probably more likely v Leicester off the bench.
  8. Either way he is back in full training so Fulham looks ideal for a return in some capacity as he’ll have had two weeks full training (maybe even a cameo v Leicester).
  9. I think we’ll sign another left back next summer and with Targett and Burn already there I think he’ll be moved on
  10. A quality midfielder and another wing/attacker to either start or come off the bench would be ace.
  11. I don’t think we were playing for a draw at Liverpool at all. Last night I’d agree we were far more pragmatic and were happy to turn the match into a scrappy affair.
  12. If they lose the north London derby the pressure will start to mount.
  13. I think a fully fit Isak (and/or a more mobile attacking left back) and we play more aggressive yesterday on the counter attack. With Arsenals attacking power Howe clearly didnt trust trust ASM ahead of Burn and it was more an all hands to the pumps plan rather than have a go at them like we did at Liverpool. It’ll be interesting to see how a fully fit Isak might change plans slightly moving forwards particularly away from home. I can see Isak getting far more game time than ASM and especially away from home. That said there’s all sorts of front 3 combinations moving forwards for different games.
  14. I was 3200th in the queue or thereabouts but ticket bang in the middle of the Gallowgate ?
  15. North London derby next weekend ?Hopefully Spurs win that to see him properly self destruct
  16. We struggle to influence the game form the bench, that needs to change
  17. Yeah this one seems to make sense. Leverage for either Maddison or Tielemans?
  18. Is Tielemans a DM though, I’ve always thought he was more of a number 8 who can score goals?
  19. Signing Mendy makes perfect sense but still seems highly unlikely
  20. It makes sense that he hasn’t looked quite as good as last year. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them bring a left back in if one becomes available
  21. We’ll upgrade the midfield this window and next summer id imagine anyway but he’ll still be a useful squad member.
