He’s clearly In great physical shape but you do think that he’s going to need to put away an early chance if he gets one otherwise confidence could be an issue with his finishing. I think if he bags a chance fairly early in the season he’ll be fine.

Yes it’s not always straightforward but I would say those cases are fewer than the majority. Loads of players recover to full fitness and potential thesedays. The club clearly aren’t that concerned judging by the price. I’d say a mensical repair can be more iffy. Granted ever transfer carries a risk.

So can you now basically pick all sections or just one section depending one how much you want to pay per ticket? The wording seems to be suggesting you can try and apply for up to 6 tickets? Only just looked at it now at work. It’s only one per member though isn’t it

Yeah only way is if we had a proper legitimate (younger) replacement and Spurs were going to throw a massive transfer fee at it. Still don’t see it though.

No apology needed, spot on cheers

Kane had several loans didn’t he before finally finding his feet -
I like a lot of what Hope says but I agree he likes these kind of stories that stir up a bit of drama. Much ado about nothing re Bruno if you ask me. He’ll sign a new deal eventually and be with us a few seasons yet.

Yeah he does look ready for this season. I know pre-season isn’t always the best judge of a player but he’s looked really sharp and strong with clinical finishing. -

From memory clubs often get a couple of targets in early and then things slow down a bit. It always ramps up again in August and goes bonkers towards the end. It’s not like we haven’t signed anyone anyway. Selling clubs often need confirmation they can get a replacement in before selling so that can slow things down. If we sign Livramento and bring in another CB we’ll be looking good and I wouldn’t rule out another signing or two (? loan options) later in the window
-
Maybe they weren’t our main targets and we moved on from them? We’ve signed two key players in key positions and look like we’ll probably bring in Livramento. It’s also likely we’ll bring in a right sided CB so i don’t think the window will be that quiet really and there’s still another month to go anyway.

Yeah it’s daft really when you consider other transfers which have gone through to Saudi

??? complete and utter moron

I agree. I think it’ll be at least one full signing of a defender and maybe one loan option. I also think we might bring in another winger/forward option for the right side.

There’s a difference between sharing opinions on players and who we might sign and staring pretty categorically that the club is making the wrong move. I enjoy coming on here and reading others opinions on players and nufc topics, a forum is pretty pointless otherwise. But regarding transfers when someone states E.g “that’s a terrible move because of x,y,z, why aren’t we signing this player?” I don’t really get that as the club will have far more insight anyway. just my opinion obviously?

The club announced it later officially because of the accounts at the end of June if I recall, similar to Botman? I place zero significance or care about the length of time it takes to sign players nor concern about who we are signing. We’re a proper run outfit who are making good decisions. It’s the same regarding cost and previous injuries, let the clubs team of analysts worry about those things. Ultimately when the player is holding the shirt up at the end of the process that’s all I care about. ?

I would hope that as our revenue goes up with sponsorship this type of situation becomes less of a need or corners but I do get your concerns. I think people are almost waiting for us to trip up really. Other clubs will be desperate to jump on any chance because they know what’s coming as we build. I just hope the fans are patient because the fact we’re the richest club in the world means sweet fa regarding the player recruitment side of the operation.

I wouldn’t entirely agree really, Tonali’s was relatively quick. The ASM transfer is obviously going to be scrutinised and therefore add some time re the PIF link but Christ it’s not like we’re selling him for 80m ? That would definitely raise eyebrows and rightly so. But 25-30m is hardly inflating his valuation ffs when you look at other transfers going out to Saudi.
