  1. Vital we keep him fit currently. If he goes down we’re back to the same situation last season
  2. Bruno will also benefit more when the likes of Isak and ASM play because it’ll create more space. As someone has mentioned above though Shelvey can have a big impact this season to help move Bruno further forward.
  3. I reckon we might see him for Southampton and Chelsea matches but I’m basing that on wild guesswork lol
  4. Players like Diaby and Harrison fit the bill for Jan. Maddison is quality but like you I don’t see where we play him but Howe is talented and I’m sure if he wants him he’d find a way. They must have got wind that he was interested hence the previous bids but I think it’s more likely he moves to someone next summer.
  5. Unless they get someone on the cheap I think they’ll rely on Shelvey this season and go for attacking options in Jan. definitely a new DM in the summer though.
  6. That would be an excellent signing. Leverkusen are also doing very badly, a bid for Diaby maybe?
  7. I think this will be addressed in Jan. We need more options
  8. You can see we still lack a cutting edge without ASM and Isak. Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see us add some attacking potency in Jan because that’s still the area we need to improve.
  9. He lacks durability but thankfully we’re moving to a squad system so there’s less reliance on him. We definitely need another quality winger who can play left or right side.
  10. Bruno and Miggy are in great form and Wilson is always a goal threat plus we’re very hard to beat. I’m still feeling relatively confident.
  11. I agree on Isak as he can play anywhere across the front 3. Saint-Max really does seem to lack durability, maybe it’s the way he plays with reliance on speed but his hamstrings are often going. I can see us signing another wing option who can challenge/play in his place next season.
  12. Assuming we add say one attacker in Jan, come the summer we’ll really be beefing up the squad and potency. I’d imagine a solid number 2 keeper, another left back (maybe more attacking in nature) to compete with Targett, sitting/defensive midfielder, a young forward (Wood will probably go), a new starting right sided CB
  13. As well as Willock has been playing i think beefing up the midfield with Joelinton while allowing Bruno to move forwards means keeping Longstaff in that sitting role. Probs bring Targett in at left back too. I think Murphy will start, ASM will get 30 mins.
  14. I think we’re probably safe next season at least. He’s young enough to not have to worry about the “big move” just yet and he seems to be genuinely happy here right now. What’s more there’s a project and progression which he can see and we obviously have no desire to sell unlike years gone by. Next summer we’ll see major recruitment again and we may well be in Europe. I can see why they didn’t sign Paqueta with the way Bruno is playing.
  15. Maddison would be an excellent signing. Not quite sure where exactly he’d play but nevertheless absolute quality. I still think they’ll be looking for another wide forward goal option in the Diaby mould (Bayer Leverkausen are really struggling this season, or were). I have a player like Maddison playing with Bruno too, blimey.
  16. Wins everything in the air, reads the game well, great first time passing, rolls Royce of a player
  17. Yeah if he’s on the bench I think he’ll get 20-25 mins second half.
  18. Yes this is why I think he might keep Longstaff in. We’ve struggled to break teams down at home.
  19. Unbelievable how this knacker keeps getting work
  20. Yes I’d be amazed if they let him go in Jan. if they’re still looking in dire straights I’d imagine he’d want to stay to help them before leaving next summer too.
