I don't think he deserves the type of comments you'd expect to be aimed at Ranger. At the end of the day the lad is playing at his level, he's just simply not up to it. It's been painful watching him and I'm just glad that the light is at the end of the tunnel where we can go into games without fearing the worst each time the ball goes near the area.

Tiote playing in a side with a more confident defence behind him and a stronger midfield with Cabaye back in there will still be the player we know he can be. He's been drawn into doing too much, rushing forward, taking players on etc. When he sits in front of the back four and patrols that area left to right and gives simple passes to the likes of Cabaye he's one of the best around and was one of the reasons our defence was so strong last season. Having that marauding bastard in front you when he's playing well would give any defence confidence.
