  1. I see myself as being far from negative on here but listening to Pardew after the QPR match saying "we've been really good the last 4 or 5 games" made me really shake my head with concern. Alright there's been atleast a bit more effort but the general play has still been bollocks as a whole.
  2. He's nicely inbetween Tiote and Cabaye in terms of a player. Great skill and tenacity and looking forward to seeing him play with Cabaye when he's back
  3. I don't doubt there's a few issues between players but most teams have that and its symptomatic of the every work place. A "player war" sounds a bit far fetched and dramatic though and a headline to clearly sell papers.
  4. Bosingwa refusing to get on the coach because he knew he was going to be a sub
  5. Sturridge has got an awful attitude problem
  6. Well said Ian W (and Pilko) , the depressing fatalistic mentality on here from many gets really boring
  7. calm down ffs Complete overreaction
  8. Have I written a match review saying how brilliant we were today? Er no. Am I unrealistic about how we played today? No
  9. Yeah that decision to start ANita, Tiote and Perch really got to me from the off. He started Marveaux against Wigan and alright it was against 10 men for most the match but must have seen enough to give him a run out today.
  10. I disagree while we've been shite pretty much the whole of this 1st half of the season we tend to raise our game against the better sides so I think we can give Everton a decent game. Norwich are doing well but their not unbeatable. Man U and Arsenal away will be the usual defeats, fair enough. We're having a piss poor season but I don't see the need to completely throw in the towel in.
  11. Don't be ridiculous, ofcourse Everton and Norwich aren't write offs
  12. WHo do you expect the board to bring in once they've sacked him then, which isn't going to happen anyway?
  13. Credit for the subs but simply has to bring Marveaux into the fold. I dont like this Ba situation either, seems to me Pardew is clearly pandering to him. He either has to move Ba wide or just leave Cisse on the bench and have done with it. He's failed to get them playing well together and refused to move Ba left even tho it worked last season. So play either Ba or Cisse central and put Marveaux/Obertan wide beside either of them.
  14. A starting midfield at home against a truly woeful side of Anita, Tiote and Perch is negative as fuck. Why not put Marveaux in to add some guile? You've still got Anita and Tiote to do the donkey work. He has to drop one of Cisse or Ba, its not working so no point persisting with it. Push Marveux as a front 3 if yr not going to play im in midfield
  15. Yep no idea why we dont see more of Marveaux? Was always going to be a game like this, glad we got the 3 points in the bag at the end of the day.
  16. Ok for the first time I'm now properly worried, too many strange decisions from Pardew and a lacklustre display again
  17. Get Marveaux on 2nd half ffs, got nowt in terms of creativity. They are fucking woeful too so if we can't put these away at home or worse
  18. The way some post in threads like this its almost like they're desperate for us to lose just so they can say "told you so"
  19. If Martinez was that good would he not have them consistently finishing mid table rather than staving off relegation year in year out?
  20. They're poor defensively, always likely to concede. Even if Man City were sitting back 2nd half last week that same type of intensity we showed with the crowd up and they'll struggle to keep us out.

    Loïc Remy

Yeah we're weak as piss at the back so even if Remy did bring something different to the attack and plug the gap should Ba leave we'll still be going into the 2nd half of the season struggling. Desperately need reinforcements to sure things up at the back.
