Rafa will have them well prepared. They're bottom for a reason, we just need to start well. An early goal would be massive. -
Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

He’s been quality and he’ll continue to be quality but he has to do a lot better there. Poor goal keeping. -

I don’t believe anything the club says, not one thing. If Rafa is to stay it’ll have to be completely on his terms. -
Unfortunately the cunts at the helm look at the complete lack of collective will of the fans to make a stand against them and likely believe they and do anything they want. It seems pretty clear that they decided ages ago they didn’t want Rafa and have been trying to force him out ever since hoping he’d walk as conditions got tougher and tougher for him.

It's incredible isn't it. All he has to do is give him some moderate backing now/in the summer and it would be a solid mid table club raking in the Pl money for years to come and he wouldn't lose Benitez or face any backlash. A bit of spending and he would make it all back and have an easy life yet he would rather go down the hard route. Beyond me what goes through his head Doesn't make any sense. Even minimal spending would secure league status and move the club into top 8-10, enable a cup run, etc but he actively works to fuck things up. I genuinely believe he enjoys rubbing the fans up the wrong way. -
I agree he has a lot of respect for the area, fans and players and will do his upmost to keep us up this season. But there's a tipping point which has already "tipped". I think the trust with Ashley has gone and is that any surprise? He knows Ashley will never invest and will always go back on his word. It's just too much hassle dealing with these morons who actively work against you. The only way I see him staying is if there's a takeover which looks very unlikely. I suppose if it was written into a contract certain guarantees re spending/control but as I said the trust has probably completely gone.

We have Huddersfield, Burnley, Palace, Southampton Homer and Fulham , Brighton, West Ham, Bournemouth away All winnable , we have a chance I'd add Leicester to that, they're very up and down or rather the defence seems to implode at times

He could’ve let Keegan get on with it, made money and got great exposure for sports Direct and/or solid it to the Sheikh who eventually bought City but look how it all turned out. Beggars belief -

Imagine if Rafa leaves and Tim Sherwood is brought in as manager .........................you heard it here first. Someone else has already mentioned that one to me, god forbid -

What a complete moron Ferdinand is. We should be saying thank you should we? It was that cunts fault we went down in the first place ffs Just mind boggling drivel and he was getting animated spouting it. Clearly rattled by Humphreys comments because he knows they carry some weight -

If this window and lack of takeover pans out as it appears it is, I'm probably approaching the "I'm done" stage quicker than I thought. While Rafa is there I'll show some interest and support but it's now less likely that I'll attend matches second half of the season. The whole situation is so pointless I just can be bothered anymore. While it's definitely different I've got other sports I follow too. Real shame and a total disaster from Ashley. I won't be back after Rafa has gone until Ashley has gone. -

This latest debacle is his crowning glory in my opinion. Actively shafting Rafa Benitez the best manager we could possibly hope for who isn't asking for millions whilst likely botching any takeover attempts due to his own greed and/or stringing everyone along. Furthermore there's every chance the club will sleep walk to its 3rd generation under his tenure due to the same age old fuck ups. Unbelievable and so utterly tragic -

Even the fat cunt might start taking notice of the league table now -
Sadly can't finish
-
100% this, it's just so boring. i'm not ready to give up hope until rafa has actually gone myself, once that's confirmed i'm taking the plug out of the socket Pulling the plug out is a great way of phrasing it?
-
Our defence is strong, Rondon will score the goals needed if he stays fit and Rafa has the experience needed. As Midds says above it’s all a bit pointless though really isn’t it.

Steve Howey saying something about he’s heard the prem league have been informed of a potential takeover and that there was an announcement originally planned prior to the Man Utd match. -

The fans, the club, everyone needs it now. Can't go on like this -
Excellent post Does amaze me that even though I understand fans find it nigh on impossible to stop going that they can't give up one match or even 11 minutes of one match to form something of a protest

Probably best to avoid that station unless you want to end up in a full on rage ? -
What's the odds on him walking if they screw him this Jan? Would be still be liable to pay the club back because he's breaking the contract?
