It was only a mystery too them because we said it was personal. That wasn't good enough for the press who wanted Colo to tell the whole world what his private problems were. Can't stand the press, they are horrible hounding w*****s who love to try and bring this club down at any given opportunity. Us against the world attitude. I like it Hello there Mr Bird...

Yeah because of all the teams with their physical presence and major height advantage...yeaaahhh it's a load of bollocks.

Agreed. A real injection of pace and skill. Presuming Cabaye will be sold. I'd be tempted to line up: Krul Debuchy. Taylor Colo santon Jonas/Tiote Marveaux. Sissoko HBA. Sinclair/Goufran Remy Our fastest ever team ! Speed tastic !!! Taylor over Mapao, fek off.

I give credit to USA for at least trying to play soccer, they are just rubbish at compared to bouncing a ball and putting it into a high ringy net. Remember the population figures, if they actually wanted to win the World Cup, they can easily do it because they have the most talented athletes on the planet

I don't understand it all. Owen p*ssed off to Real Madrid and nobody in the country cared how he fared over there. This lot go on like they would love to see Dempsey top goalscorer followed by Altidore runner up whilst there respective clubs triumph under their brilliant qualities. Madness this soccer game.
-
I'd rather have Altidore for 8mil than Carroll for 30. I'd rather have a shit in the toilet with no toilet roll than shit in my kegs.

Especially with his previous attempt at playing soccer in the PL.

Not at all. Top 8.

I was impressed with him during the confeds. Thought he was excellent in first game against Mexico especially. Looked him up expecting to be a young lad (don't really follow Seria A much) then realised he was 28ish and thought naaaaa wouldn't have him here. Then the mackems buy him....

Wow, bit of a bold statement, when we have completely failed to bring in the right players needed practically every summer Ashley has been here. Firstly, i won't forget that we brought in players in Jan who primarily were supposed to be bought this summer and Ashley deserves credit for paying that extra little sum to get them early when we were in trouble. I do think they are under no illusion that they messed up last summer by not strengthening when in a good position but ultimately failed to do so. We will go about business as usual, not accepting first valuations on players, trying to get the bargain deals. In cases of Remy and Bent we have the upper hand on the other club so need to rush. Villa want Bent out of the club, they are desperate to get him out. Remy has been relegated and he personally wants out. Both of these situations gave Newcastle a big advantage on driving the valuation down. There will be other targets but i'm not going to try and first guess who these may be but i'm just confident that we made the mistake last summer, we've recognised that fact and i feel we won't do the same again. Time will tell however if we decide to shoot ourselves in the foot once again.

I really hate the c*** of a owner we have with a bigger c*** as our director of football, while a clown is the manager. Feels like a bad black comedy movie. I don't want to disagree in general, but what has Fer going to Norwich got to with it? I think if another team sign a player with some sort of footballing ability, isn't costing ridiculous money and within our wage structure, then it's an outcry towards our c*** of owner and clown of a manager that they aren't playing against Man City first game of the season? But Leroy Fer isn't the kind of player we should be looking to sign, he'd be a waste of £7m Leroy Fer isn't the point, it's anyone. Let them do their business (i still wonder how Norwich attract these people because they are so shit though). They have their targets, we have ours. It's really that simple. We've currently only been turned down for Dortmund. I have faith we will bring in the right players, just a bit of patience is needed.
-
Yeah, but it just seems random outrage to me. In January we signed a collection of quality players. What were Norwich fans thinking then? Other clubs sign players, it's a fact of life. Those players not signing for us instead isn't a failure. Stop being so logical Ian, just go along with the outcry. No need for sensibile posts so early in the transfer window

I haven't seen Wijnaldum being highly linked with a specific club. If Remy fails, we should be all out for him. Would love to see him here.
-
Do we? Unless your blind, stupid or both tbh. Sorry for backing our manager.
-
This really could go on a fair while. Villa want him out but are asking a fairly high price for an unwanted player. Newcastle are in no rush to buy so are happy to play waiting game for maybe Villa to get desperate to sell and drop price. Cat and mouse transfer this one but it does seem likely imo that we will buy him. However i don't think this would be our only signing, can certainly see us bring in a creative/winger type as well at least.
-
Started by sky bet Sky bet drop a price, insane gamblers see a big gamble is taking place, large sums are placed, price drops further, Newcastle don't sign Sinclair and Sky Bet have made a few bob.
-
Probably me exaggerating former quotes tbh They wanted cover for every position but wanted quality at a cheap price. We have that really. I don't mind Anita/Miwa filling in. Santon/Debuchy are the purpleys, Haidara is the cheap quality back up. Sorted.
-
Haidara/Anita/Mbiwa best cover we've got. It's enough imo. Don't rate Tav. That's two players out of position and only one natural backup though. Anyway, you know these players better than me. No you are dead on right with that. Our two 'purples' for every position has been completely blown out of the window. So that cover is basically the best we are getting, but it will suffice.

I'd prefer Marv to Gouffran imo.
