Not at Man U it doesn’t
-
They’ve been a fucking shambles for a decade, culminating in their worst season in 40 years or whatever. Two or three signings in a window doesn’t change the fact they’re a total mess
-
Let’s just get out of the race now please. He’s over-rated and I’ve said so from the start. The fact that he wants Man U over us is a major warning flag about his mentality and desire for his career
-
Few tabs round the back, couple of pints of bitter and then back home for a kip before watching a few YouTube compilations of PL stars before clocking off for the day, on repeat
-
If he’s not seriously injured we should be doing everything in our power to sell him this window. The chances of him having a meaningful positive impact on this upcoming season are minute

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

Yeah, I mean, at least as things stand now I don’t think he’s a CF and it’s unclear if he can develop into one. I think he’s more of a wide forward / winger than anything else but I can’t see him getting that many minutes on the right wing and he’s not going to succeed as a striker for us at present -
Just go to Man U and watch your career fall apart there so we can have a good laugh at yours and their expense

I think he’s got good dribbling ability, even if it’s a little haphazard. He’s got pace and physical strength to bully defenders. I think he just doesn’t have a clue how to put it all together. If he did, he’d already be getting quality minutes for us -

I think we don’t know how to use him, and he’s a difficult player to coach, that’s the reason he got so few minutes last season as he has a ton of ability -

Because he doesn’t train as hard as the rest of the lads. Numerous reports / comments about him being late for training -

Completely disagree personally -
In fairness, Howe has more success in the market than pretty much any other manager, barring maybe Emery. Whether that’s down to identification, his coaching or a combination who knows but I’d be surprised if he wasn’t a success

Personally think Xhaka is a fantastic signing for them. Don’t think it’s an over-the-hill signing. The issue for Sunderland is more about their squad, the inexperience, the AFCON and the jump in quality from the championship for those that remain from the promotion season. Can’t see a scenario where they stay up but I’d prefer them to stay up over some of the alsoran losers in the PL that are on their knees for the cartel

Keep the GOAT out of the mud, preserve him at all costs
-
Would be great news for football if they did. The sooner teams start suffering for their anti-competitive approach the better
-
Terrible deal for the Chelsea imbeciles and a terrible move for Jackson if it happens
-
Well done to all the clubs who voted to make themselves poorer and less able to operate in the transfer market
-
Doesn’t Eze have a release clause? Not sure they can do anything to keep him and they’ll lose Guehi next year for free
-
Genuinely does feel therapeutic making a signing and everyone letting a little of relief / positivity cut into what’s been a harrowing two months
-
Aye, he’s outstanding at it. The game against us at SJP last season was a perfect case study in it
