Seems like a lot of our CB interest is linked to players abroad rather than the home market. Whereas attacking players the links have been more PL-based

Gareth’s always held himself well, speaks with dignity, protects his players and is a thoughtful guy. No one should be aggressively tearing him to pieces, throwing shit at him etc. Fans are taking it too far but it’s tough watching this shit and not getting incredibly annoyed

One of the best things Southgate ever did was instil belief in players and help them to feel trusted and be less scared on the pitch. He’s undone all that by playing players out of their positions and creating a system where we can’t transition quickly. This will have killed a lot of player confidence

Take off our best player, that’ll sort it. In fairness, Palmer is a great option but there are other players who should be subbed first

He used to do that amazingly well for Spurs. The difference is, they were stretching teams to pieces so he’d often get a ball in behind. It doesn’t work with this set up as it’s far too slow

Need to completely restructure the team with fully fit players in their best positions even if it means dropping players who are amazing. Possibly too late mid tournament to make it work now
