I’m enjoying all this chat about the town moor. Irrespective of anything related to the club, is there any hope that the moor(s) will ever be anything other than wild grassland?

I liked Conceicao, right level of red hot rage throughout the match. Arteta’s emotions are confected. He’s a massive fucking weirdo who needs taken down multiple pegs. He’s enemy no. 1 once Klopp fucks off. Arsenal’s fans are spoilt brats as well

Pepe’s lived long enough to go from the villain to a hero

If Havertz misses a pen there’ll be jizz
-
Pleased for him, was always a good lad
-
Zinchenko reminds me too much of Michael Cera, can’t take him seriously
-
Havertz takes any opportunity possible to be a cunt

Would be gutted if Havertz got a PL winner’s medal. Would be remarkably undeserved

Always impossible to tell what an individual player’s priorities are. They don’t owe us anything really although they have to make a faith-based decision. If I stay here, can I achieve what I want to achieve, e.g. win trophies, be in CL year on year. Isak and Bruno won’t stay for two seasons out of the CL but I hope they’ll stay for one out of it

Pyro? Jesus Christ, it’s a football match. What is wrong with people. I just want to watch a football match in an atmosphere where everyone’s engaged and getting stuck in, making noise, cheering the lads on etc. that’s all I want

Can’t think of a game off the top of my head that has quite a lot riding on it that we’ve overturned such major odds before
-
That picture is possibly the simplest way of explaining this season

Have no idea what sort of performance we’ll put in. We’ll lose but I hope we put in a decent account. I think it’s likely we’ll play well and be up for it but we don’t stand a chance against them away even if they put out a second string side
-
That is the weak point of his game for sure. I agree as well, the team lacks pace in all areas. Defensively especially, although Tino has pace. In midfield we’ve got Willock who has pace and that’s it. Gordon has pace. Even Isak isn’t that fast. Needs to be a major priority in the summer window
-
I’d like to see him in that advanced role, I think he’s got the game for it. I don’t think he’s an out and out winger

Mourinho feels inevitable? What the fuck is this nonsense

It says a lot that a 17 year old who hasn’t fully developed physically is a better option than Sean. Miley is better at receiving the ball, shielding it and passing it. He’s got better creative vision. Once Miley develops a bit more physically then there’s absolutely no way Sean should be getting a game for us other than some sub appearances. If we could sell him, I would but I don’t think it’ll be easy. We need a Nottingham Forest to do something really stupid

He suffers more than most for not playing. When he gets on he tries to do too much and prove himself. He’s a far better player when he gets more regular minutes so let’s hope he can get a bit of a run in the side as I think he will shine with regular football
-
Disagree on the ball carrying. Miggy does suffer from stopping and passing backwards when he doesn’t have any space to run into. However, if he can run into space he can do it at pace either down the line or inside. I’d say Murphy is very average at ball carrying although I haven’t looked at his stats. There’s absolutely zero question that Miggy is one of the best defensive wingers in the league
-
When do these new financial rules come into effect and does anyone have a ballpark figure on how much we can spend in the summer with current or prospective regulations? We need a RW, a back up striker, a DM, a LB and a 10. That obviously depends on how we want to set up as the DM / 10 may not be what Howe is after but we are massively struggling in transitions ourselves and coping with other team’s transitions
-
Completely disagree about the “stealing a living” quip. Miggy always gives everything and he has an impact defensively and in attack. The issue is he can’t cross a ball and almost never gets an assist and he fluffs chances. He still does a lot of good work in build up play and his defensive work is almost unmatched in a wide role. Murphy will get more assists because he can cross the ball, he’s nowhere near as good defensively and I think their goals would be almost identical. Miggy is much better at carrying the ball than Murphy. They’re just two very different players with completely different strengths and weaknesses. Murphy is more a traditional winger, Miggy (when he’s on form) is a fairly unique wide option who offers more to the team even though he spurs chances a lot
-
That’s true, his lack of pace means he absolutely has to play with a keeper who’s sweeping all the time
-
When this lad starts he’s invariably our best player

Not that it matters but such a stupid challenge to make
