In terms of physical attributes, he’s amazing. I was a fan of Gordon before we signed him, at least of his ability, not necessarily how he came across. Onana though, he honestly looks like Shola sometimes with the ball at his feet. If he could develop his technical ability further then he’d be a complete midfielder but it’s the hardest area for someone to make significant improvements. Has anyone seen him play and receive the ball very well under pressure, shield it and spray passes around? I’ve seen him do a lot of the dirty work and roam from box to box but as he gets closer to the opposition box his weaknesses become clearer. For the money it just doesn’t make any sense to me when we need a RW right now

I think Harrison is a really good player but he has the English premium and he’s not a champions league quality winger. There will be better options out there with higher ceilings and lower transfer fees

Onana is technically not good enough. He’s absolutely not someone who could take us forward as he is now. Obviously, if hes able to be coached to another level that may be different but I just don’t think his feet and balance look top level. Too often he clumsily messes things up

The reason we won’t play Hayden is he’s played very little football for years and the football he has played has been at a standard well below Premier League football. He’s not exactly shone at that level either. I think if his body hadn’t broken down he would have had an ok career in the premier league with a bottom 8 club, which was us for most of the last two decades however, he’s miles away from both the level needed but also even just playing a bit part role Im sure

He was good at tracking back and tackling but his main asset is driving the ball forwards at speed. No one breaks in transition close to his speed in the squad. Gordon, while faster in terms of pace doesn’t move the ball anywhere near as quickly. Willock is one of the best in the league at running with the ball at pace

Personally think Ramos is made for us, much more conventional striker than Isak so would be a good replacement for Wilson. Isak and Ramos could definitely play together and do so better than Isak and Wilson as Wilson doesn’t have the same pace and movement at this stage
