The Ten Hag way
-
If they’d done that to us, we’d have been absolutely livid. Can’t believe they allowed it to happen
-
I’d say that near enough ends our hopes of something from the game. He’s absolutely essential to us limiting them in midfield and in transition
-
Doctoring social media posts online to pour fuel on the fire, it’s hard to understand how toxic some people are really
-
Rashford unbelievably out of form, passes overhit, barely any confidence to take someone on
-
If Man U were to lose here would that seal Ten Hag’s fate? Not necessarily immediately but it would guarantee he’d not reach the end of the season?
-
Wigan have some decent players on the ball
-
Is Onana’s kicking even that good?
-
Nah, they’ll try and shut up shop away and limit it to a max two goal deficit
-
Beth going in two-footed on themselves. Tough to see
-
Will feel a lot better about this draw if Wigan take a shit on baldy’s crown tonight
-
Really like Craven Cottage, watched Ben Arfa smash one in there even though we lost. Was worth it for one of his thunderbastards
-
Fulham away is just fine. It’s a joke that we’re away but I think we’ll beat them. We’ll want it more than them by a distance
-
I find it hard to get worked up about this sort of stuff. This sort of off-field politics is something I just want to ignore. I spent most of my life trying to avoid actual politics but you just can’t given that it affects each and every one of us but there’s no way I’ll ever care about this sort of shit

Don’t get me wrong, I’d absolutely love to get Ritchie, Hendrick, Hayden or Manquillo off the books properly but I can’t see it happening with any of them. Do we even know what the situation is with how much wages we’re covering for Hayden or Hendrick?
-
Selling a non-first teamer? We trying to scrabble together £100,000 - £500,000 worth of player sales?
-
Don’t think Howe would have sold Murphy when he was fit, might be wrong but the amount he’d bring in would be pretty small fry and he’s a dedicated pro. That’s the problem with many of our squad pre-2022. They barely have any value so it’s hard to shift them and bring in new players due to FFP
-
Got to take the league into account massively but he’s clearly an extremely exciting player and plays in a position we’re pretty much weakest in
-
Good luck Tony

For a team that’s not throwing lots of money around, the model is working to an extent. Buying in young players who don’t quite make the grade for first team football (coming through the academies of top tier clubs) is a decent plan but one that I think won’t result in promotion unless it’s married with bringing in experienced players too. Will be interesting to see how Sunderland progress. @TeddySAFC in terms of yearly revenue and profit that can go towards bringing in players, do you know what sort of shape you’re in?
-
Arteta will be so fucking funny to watch when they properly fall away in the league
-
I work with a few mackems who are good lads, love their club and go in for some friendly ribbing. I’ve always felt like Sunderland have it pretty rough, clearly in Newcastle’s shadow as a city by every metric going so I don’t take that much pleasure in rubbing it in their faces. The rivalry no longer even feels like a proper rivalry given the difference in quality between the two footballing sides

A replay here would be a joy to behold
