I agree that his one start was the worst performance hes had by a distance. Real shame, he’s here now until the end of the session so let’s hope he gets time on the pitch to develop. I think he has a role to play for us

I know you’re a scout and probably look at a ton more data than we do and I agree he should have gone on loan for hai development in September but I think it’s hard to say whether he’s ready or not given he only gets ten mins here and there. I think he’s had times where he’s looked really sharp and other times where he’s looked a bit out of his depth but it’s hard to know based on the minutes he’s had

No idea what to expect from this game, two teams not playing anywhere near their best. I’d like to see us go hard at them. We’ll get more space to attack and I think Gordon running at Alexander-Arnold could be devastating

He’s had a few unlucky yellows this season where he got the ball and the refs put him in the book mistakenly. He was livid that they gave him such a shitty booking today

Aye, there’s definitely a chance, I just think with our style of play and our squad limitations I’d be surprised if we can finish the season incredibly strongly

What annoyed me was he threw his hands up as of to say “why did no one give me a shout” but it was just lazy play to not be aware of the space around him

It has to be said that whilst Bournemouth were a bunch of pathetic slugs playing to the referee, they did a great job of closing out space to us and defending with a good shape. We got in behind them once or twice but they forced us away from the penalty area everytime. Defensively, they were really solid even though we were also awful at moving the ball

It’s such a shame, I’ve always really liked him as a player but I think for both him and us, it’ll be a simple decision to part ways in the summer. For us, we’ll be looking for a consistent option that does the simple things right whilst also playing within Eddie’s system. For him, he’ll be looking at trying to play with the freedom he loves. It’s premature maybe to talk about it but I’d be surprised if he’s here in September

Struggling to see how we keep our position with our style of high press play given the limitations of our squad. I think we’ll remain tough to beat but we’re not going to win loads on the bounce from here on out I don’t imagine
