  1. Hope he can restart his career elsewhere in January. Would be great for him and us. His pace could definitely be of use in the lower leagues but we’ll struggle to shift him because of his wages. Howe might not be cutthroat enough to loan him out in Jan with a view to selling him in the summer but I think it’s what needs to happen

    Joe Willock

Realistically, his skill set is best suited on making runs into the box and general runs in the final third. He has the attributes more fitting of a forward role. He doesn’t have the technical ability / physicality to play in the middle. I hope we can figure it out as he’s definitely got great aspects to his game but he’s stalled rather than pushed on and mentally he seems like he doesn’t have the fire on the pitch or belief at times
  3. One thing VAR has proven beyond doubt is that the standard of officiating in this country is even worse than we believed before its introduction. We were always told in the past that a ref’s eyeline was obscured, that there were bodies in the way or he wasn’t close enough to the action. VAR has proved that they’re just fucking awful at their jobs. Either they come out and say “we’re taking bungs and are a corrupt bunch of cunts” or they come out and say “we’re not good enough”. They can’t keep making these sorts of mistakes week after week. And it’s not just us, it’s all the teams vying for spots from 7th and below
  4. He’s had a bad game, he’s been inconsistent for us but he’s far from one of our worst players in our squad. He’s also probably in poor shape after the game midweek. Ideally, he shouldn’t have started
  5. The lads must be absolutely exhausted. Fucked over midweek, played 98 minutes of a fast-paced game and have to play again, goal gets diallowed unfairly. No surprises we’re running a bit on empty
  6. These social media updates ever correlate with the starting 11?

    Alexander Isak

It means very rare. Specifically in Isak’s case it would refer to the fact that he’s got height, exceptional dribbling ability and pace as well as great technical ability in striking a ball. I think the thing that makes him particularly unique regarding those traits is his height as normally someone his size wouldn’t be as pacy and technically gifted at dribbling

Have we ever had a forward like Isak? He gets called a unicorn player for good reason. I don’t know much about his record on heading the ball but I imagine it’s an area he can improve on as younger strikers are often weaker in that area (Andy Carroll aside)
  9. Will be a big miss today, creatively we rely on ASM, Bruno and Isak. I think Anderson will join them as our main creative players but at the moment ASM and Bruno are the most important
  10. Froggy’s come out fighting
  11. At least he should get decent minutes if Fraser starts as Fraser’s always blowing out his arse after 60
  12. How many times did they get to cross the ball into the box in this match? They’re absolutely awful with no quality in the side apart from Diangana who’s decent at this level but if you get that many balls in eventually something will come of it
  13. Vincent Kompany looks cool as fuck on the touchline. He’ll be in the premier league managing in no time
  14. Seen him a couple of times for Fulham, looks like a player with a ton of potential
  15. Jed Wallace is 70% plod, 30% clog
  16. The commentators keep hammering home that Bruce didn’t get the signings he wanted. They’re gutted for him that he keeps getting beat
  17. Terrible footballing decision, great early retirement decision
  18. West Brom’s final ball and fret doesn’t exist. They look like a team that trains once a week, which is probably not far off
  19. A bit tampony? Never heard that as a insult before. Think it might be one of the weakest insults I’ve ever heard in my life

    Alexander Isak

Get in, can’t wait to see how he responds to the crowd. He’s clearly not an outwardly emotional guy but I hope he can build a strong connection to the fan base. They’ll certainly be showing him some love
  21. Our record at SJP is amazing over the last ten-twelve fixtures. Such an intimidating ground to come to
