West Ham are so laboured going forwards, Bowen’s not on a hot streak anymore and Antonio is getting on a bit. They don’t look like they’re going to score at all
-
Don’t think that’s a red at all for Nakajima. He’s playing for the ball, foot is barely off the ground and not even coming in at great pace
-
The short passing in this game has been good, especially from Everton but long passes have been shocking
-
Don’t need sensible logic, just need international football to fuck off. I came back on board with the England team when we had Bruce but I’m back to resenting international football again now (it gets a reprieve during the World Cup and Euros)

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)

Clearly trying to show how mature he is in order for Howe to slap another £5m on our offer in January based on his character -
We’ve got a shite record down there from memory, still 2-1 win to us, with Mitrovic in floods of tears at the end begging to come home
-
The first 11 are going to have to win this for us. I don’t know Bournemouth’s team at all, they got any quality?
-
No Anderson on the bench, he picked up an injury?
-
Absolutely ages, he just got a new contract and is absolutely class. Suits the club perfectly and conducts himself in the best manner possible. The quality of our play last season and so far this season means they shouldn’t even consider anything related to his position unless we’re in the bottom three for several weeks, which isn’t going to happen as we’ll likely finish between 7th - 9th
-
Score in the 69th minute, goal gets ruled out but VAR calls the ref over. They go to the replay and it’s just a picture of an old lady so the goal doesn’t get given

Chaperoned his mum as a precocious four year old -
Howay Isak, at least one today but a brace would be ideal
-
Need a win today as it’s been a shit week, do it for gbandit lads
-
I’m not a betting man but if I was I’d be putting it on either Hassenhuttl to go in the next month or them to get relegated
-
There are far fewer international quality left backs pushing for squad places than right backs. Targett has no flash to his game but he’s extremely reliable. If we become a top six side you can bet that he’ll get a call up
-
Southampton are so poorly coached / organised. Just a bunch of lads trying to drive forward with the ball whenever they get it and if they can’t they pass backwards

If we don’t win tomorrow it’s on the queen -
This Villa Southampton game has all the hallmarks of two sides facing a relegation scrap. Fucking awful game
-
Pope’s been faultless so far this season, if I was choosing a keeper based on reliability at shot stopping and commanding his area then I’d go with Pope every time
-
Aye, very good news
-
Pritchard is awful and for a winger Clarke only has pace, very little quality at dribbling past people. I thought Alese looked a good player when I saw him the other day though

Uh oh -
Well, it’s decent wages gone and a fee for a player that we’ll sell in the summer. I don’t think it’s a bad deal for us financially. It could just affect us if Pope picks up an injury. If he doesn’t, it’s a good deal for us
-
To be honest, the move ends up being great for us if Pope stays fit. We make money and may have a cheap but effective second keeper in Karius
