Bury them Isak, 3-0 hat-trick
-
Everyone’s arse has fallen out in the league when considering our potential. You could see how Klopp and Liverpool reacted the other day, we’re a major threat now. Can’t wait to start smashing some of these teams in the next few years
-
Also, special shout-out to all the posters who embedded Twitter links and transfer articles throughout the window to keep us all going. Won’t be able to list everyone but @SUPERTOON@The Butcher @The Prophet @gdm @Disco @54 all spring to mind. Sorry if I missed out other posters who kept the transfer flame alive

8/10, love all our incomings, slight disappointment we didn’t manage to shift Murphy on a loan and bring in a RW but overall, delighted with our progress and can’t wait to just properly enjoy the season now. Fuck Liverpool
-
They’re probably hoping that a high finish and some minutes in the Europa Conference league could convince him to stay but hopefully we sign him up for next season
-
Would love to know what their wage bill has gone from and to, pretty fascinating. You’d imagine that if they get relegated we won’t be seeing them again for a long time

Just hopped into the transfer bath as well, just watching the water drain out now
-
Well, they’ve clearly tried to negotiate an extension and he’s given them the V’s

Bamba Dieng gone for the dagger in the back on deadline day, one of my favourite plays
-
That’ll teach West Ham for thieving Paqueta

Let your wings fly Matty

Decent negotiation in the end, no one’s had their pants pulled down

Don’t have a replacement for Pulisic? What are they on about
-
Good, always ideal to get youngsters out on loan. Howe talked him up so I hope he can develop a bit more before he comes back
-
Ashby is a clever, pragmatic signing. West Ham don't want to lose him and we need cover there. Makes perfect sense even if he's not established. He'll be learning from the best in Trippier.

Johnny's lineups are too sensible nowadays

I think I'd give the window an 8/10 if it stays like this. Targett was a must really given his performances last season. Botman was a huge signing and shows that we're competing for some of the best up-and-coming talent in Europe. Nick Pope has proved to be an outstanding signing and should be our keeper for years and years to come. I would have given the window a 6/10 but I never thought we'd be able to land Isak. That elevates it to an 8/10 for me. I know we're still massively weak in certain areas but it can't all be done in one or two windows. The signings we have made are all very high quality with potential for Botman and Isak to get better and better. One thing I would have liked would have been to move on more dead wood and bring in a few pragmatic signings but it just shows how terrible our wider squad is

When we don’t have the ball he does a lot of running, when we have the ball he’s very static. Don’t think it’s laziness, just think he’s not the brightest
-
Who’s made the lowest amount of signings? Leicester with one? Bournemouth? NFFC should loan them a player or two
-
He's a good lad, does some good running and doesn't let his head drop. Unfortunately, his attacking threat per game must be extremely low. His xG might be so low the scale can't recognise it.

Thanks Zero, appreciate you putting this in here rather than the Twitter nonsense thread
-
Would vastly prefer Pedro over Broja
-
You’d think he’d have some sympathy for Pope as a fellow goalkeeper
-
I like his defensive efforts and he’s clearly capable of picking a decent pass to set someone free on goal. His overall passing ability is not good enough though, we lose a lot of possession from his inaccurate passing and he has no technical ability to dribble with the ball. Should really only be featuring as a sub but this is where we are right now. He’s got a good attitude and hopefully he can develop a bit more even though I don’t expect his game to change significantly

Isn’t he just trying to tag himself into the glory days, because he never had much success as a player?
