Yeah,Guy.I went to school with Sean, did we meet in the famous three kings?sorry man,my memory's a joke.I can see where the mackem's coming from but it just makes it impossible once people start throwing pub names into the mix.no consensus. If it ends up in the east end I'm just going to go to the C and L.hope we smash them just so the mackem gets his dues for messing this up
-
Hmm, intriguing. My mate Sean had invited me to a group on facebook called 'mackems' which is about this game and one of the people in the conversation was a mackem and derailed the 'cock and lion'. Same thing for you?
-
Anyone living in London going to the Cock and Lion for this? I am. The other three games I've watched there have been 'Newcastle-Sunderland 5-1' Lerl, 'Newcastle-Man Utd 3-0' Lerl, 'Tottenham-Newcastle' 5-0 That's the first time I've ever used a smiley, I love that dog
-
Cock. I guess

how is it that every thread gets turned into puns for pages at a time? Gonna sound like a prick but just don't find it funny, especially because this place has so many naturally funny people on it

I've enjoyed not hearing about this guy in recent times. As others have mentioned, no one's on his side anymore. He's a waster, has been given a hell of a lot of chances and done nothing with them. The guy's got nothing going on upstairs and never will. Go away leach
-
Yeah, got no interest in ripping the mackems.let the football decide the NETDs
-
Hope he absolutely nails it. Deserves way more playing time considering how much he impressed at the tail end of last season
-
Not even slightly excited about the match. England has almost no emotional connection for me anymore

Parker isn't an incredibly gifted footballer but he puts more into games than most. Joey did the same and it's their saving virtue because they're not top top players. While Parker spins round and goes for the easy pass, he does help the team to move forward and does nothing to stilt a passing game as long as people make themselves available for him. He's a good player but let him strike a ball and watch and laugh
-
Sir Ricky of sbragia still kicking about on there?I don't go on apart from via here but I love that guy

Best way to get reliability out of players is to bench them. Rule 1: If a talented player gets a serious injury, bench them as much as possible when they return to full fitness. Rule 2: Talk them down in the press and say you need to see more of them but when you see more, bench them. Rule 3: Play him you stupid prat
-
awful for the lad, can't remember if there was a worst thing to happen to nufc this season nomination but I'd say it was Steven Taylor's injury without a shadow of a doubt. So gutted for him, his body is made of glass
-
I know what you're saying Gimp, it does have that element of neither team is showing enough quality at the moment and it'll dribble along to a draw but we've got this one man. We're definitely bringing home the three points
-
this whole scenario is just a mess. The worst piece of man management I've seen at the club since Souness
-
Brazil are in a terrible state. Going into their own World Cup with their worst squad since 90 or 74. They don't at with flair or brains anymore, just a lot of very good players who are completely disjointed.they still have an amazing team but they always look awful
-
Lerl, hope they go down next season, the little shits.won't ever forgive them for that day
-
There's record books and then there's watching Liverpool play and if they think they're 'inspired' now and are going to win lots of trophies then they need to look closely at their footballing skill because they're not good at all
-
Total silence would be amazing but you could never orchestrate that. but booing is out of the question for me
-
I went for 8th, now I think we'll finish 7th. there's more to the story than that though
-
I thought he was an appalling defender. He only didn't get found out due to Jonas and due to him not being targeted at first. He had three or four games where he was the worst player on the pitch for us due to his total inability to defend
-
This fair play league needs to be done away with because it's a disgrace. Either do it properly or not at all. Whoever compiles this shit needs a P45 and a queue pass to the job centre because they're shit
-
Too many people are guided by the derby results. See Raylor/Shola. I know you're a fan but I think far too many people put an onus on it and read into it too much. Pardew will get slaughtered if we lose and probably to unfair levels but I would like to think that level-headed supporters would also be frustrated with him if we don't put in a performance. The cracks in our play are showing far too much for a side that is putting out Cisse/Ba/Cabaye/Tiote/Santon/Colo/Krul and should be putting out Ben Arfa. To think we drew against Wolves at home after their managerial issues with those players at our disposal is very poor
-
Completely, he's not a footballer. He's a dead ball specialist and able to cross when not under pressure. You ask him to do any other footballing basics; dribbling, passing, positioning, tackling and he looks like a championship player at best

At the end of the season, the scores should go down to 1-1 or whatever the equivalent will be dependent on the Parky-Dalglish scores rather than these high scores. Personally, I don't think they deserve a point for being completely shit. Cardiff were the better team all the way through apart from for the penalties where they were probably the worst team penalties I've seen for a few years. Liverpool are in decline and this undeserved trophy is evidence of it. Just can't see them getting a CL spot for a long time
