For the amount of games he got Obertan was unbearably bad. It was made worse by the fact that his pace afforded him loads of opportunities but his footballing ability was non-existent so almost everything came to nothing

Think I’ll base my expectations of him on what I’ve seen myself, his data and the fact that he was clearly one of our priority targets and we do extremely extensive scouting. He was always dependable positionally at left back, never dependable on the ball. I know it’s just one game but he was somehow even worse than his normal level on the ball and really poor positionally. Can’t see the point of him being in the squad
