Willock’s been our best player
-
Souness is a bitter, twisted angry man but at least he’s not fake as fuck
-
Ah apologies, fair play
-
Eh? Pardew talked us down incessantly
-
Some wanker going on about how we played good football under him. He was an absolute fucking snake from day one, will do anything to ingratiate himself for some cash or recognition
-
I’ve got some faint memory of that too, hopefully someone can dig it out

Pretty sure it was the_guv wasn’t it?

Which player is going to be inspired by Bruce to become better? They’re looking at a guy who’s gone to seed who has no ambition other than to stay on the gravy train for as long as possible. With Howe, he’s setting a model for everyone in the club to follow. It’s amazing how simply someone with those standards can change the tone of the environment. It’s not just that he’s better in every facet of the game than Bruce and the PFM counterparts but he genuinely loves the job and wants to be the best he can be. Who else can you say that about? Only the top guys like Rafa, Guardiola etc. Howe’s attitude is the best thing about him, it’s positive and it’s flowing through the whole team now

Your card’s marked son

I’d love to see Hayden’s heat map of time spent on his arse as opposed to on his feet
-
Oof, I love it when they refer back to times where they were ‘top dogs’
-
@Conjoit’s not a hill I’m willing to die on as I checked out of watching our games under Bruce but I don’t remember games where he defended very poorly under Rafa

I think stealing a living is a bit harsh. I don’t think there’s a single fan that will argue he’s a quality footballer. He’s genuinely awful on the ball but positionally in defence he’s generally always been good, it feels like it’s dropped off a bit this season. His hoofing of the ball is appalling but he’s been symptomatic of who we’ve been as a club for 14 years, looking to achieve the bare minimum. However, he always gives everything, loves the club and has almost never put in a really poor defensive performance. Yes, he needs to go but I don’t think he’s stolen a living as a footballer even though he can’t kick a football

I like Dummett, he loves the club, always gives his all and he is a good defender. We all know his shortcomings as a footballer and I think this should be his last season at the club

Back in the toon for this one, although my train has fucked me and I’m going to miss the first half. Where’s the closest place to the central station showing the match? Couldn’t care less anything else about the pub, just the closest one
-
@GM is based in Scotland but can’t remember if he’s Glasgow or Edinburgh. Don’t think he’s as engaged as he used to be though

Vurnon all day
-
They were both marginal decisions but if we’d had an offside called for that I’d have been absolutely livid
-
Put him anywhere on the park apart from striker. He’s fast becoming one of my favourite NUFC players of all time. If he stays with us and continues to develop through his 20s he’s going to be a genuine hero

This is where I’m at I think, can’t see us scoring more than two goals before the end of the season and I think if I had to predict how many we’re likely to concede I’d say 34. Who are we getting our three draws against though? I can’t see it right now
-
Struggling to see a win, especially with the injury to Trippier but I think we can grind out a point here, preferably via Joelinton slicing the ball off Kurt Zouma’s cock, causing it to simultaneously deflect into the net and sever the cock from his body
-
Want to see Joelinton score then chin Gerrard, that’s all I ask for, and three points as well I guess
-
Yeah, but not realistically for the January window. I think he could be one we look at in the summer if we stay up

Tell me a club’s financially fucked without telling me they’re financially fucked
