He just can’t do it 1 v 1 in the slightest. That’s not his game. His game is having space to run into to attack where he can cut in and shoot. If he gets square with a defender he can only pass it backwards or lose it, or only rare occasions eke out a cross. If he can’t run and attack from deep and then cut in his game is very limited. Thankfully, his striking of the ball is so good that the limitation is massively mitigated. However, I much prefer wingers who can actually beat their man on the wing or if they get squared up, have the quality to beat them by coming inside

Well, I think he’ll very quickly change his tune if he doesn’t get a transfer and he’ll try get back in the team. My ideal future is we sign at least one CF who comes in and plays well, Osula gets the Leeds game and bags two. Isak doesn’t get back in the side while we’re cruising in the top four by the January transfer window. We can then sell him to the highest bidder that isn’t Liverpool

Disagree KI, I think we moved the ball extremely quickly in transition, better than we did almost all last season. We just needed a striker and Gordon playing LW rather than Barnes. We cut through them and got in behind multiple times and we completely controlled the midfield for large portions of the game, even when we were down to ten men
