  1. by being solid in defense and midfield away to the champions? I'd have Pardew as my avatar too if I was so easily impressed. Man U are nothing special right now. No reason we can't take the game to Man U like Everton did a few days ago (apart from our clueless manager of course). it is worth pointing out Everton could have conceded a few on another day with some luck keeping it out of the net. Its not as if Everton went there and dominated for 90 minutes. They matched them well had chances gave away chances much like we're doing right now They played with far more attacking intent than we have so far.

  3. f***ing awful player at times Might have something to do with the fact that he's not a winger.

  7. Horrible lineup, especially for a home game against Norwich.

  9. Would have Lallana over Welbeck every time.
  10. Think Arsenal could batter Man U here. Will miss Mertesacker though.
  11. I reckon Sunderland will stay up.
  12. Thanks . I agree. We invited pressure onto us with the way we set up after half time, and were never going to threaten them with so few committed to going forward when we got the ball.
  13. Incredible season for them so far. Brought Lallana in this week for Sigurdson. Also Brought him in, he's making my day.

  15. Sissoko Cabaye Marveaux HBA Cisse/Gouffran Remy With Tiote/Anita making way - For most home games, at least. . Marveaux has done more than enough in his limited playing time to at least be deserving of a place on the bench. Pardew just has no clue how to best utilise players like Marveaux and how to play in a style which suits them, hence why HBA is back on the bench and Pardew is still 'trying to figure out how to get the best out of him' ().
  16. Aye alreet, Bert. I wonder who else is on this "ever growing list of clubs who we make look average/poor." Motherwell.
  17. You couldn't believe that people had no faith when the lad looked like a league one player in his first 15 games for the club? I never thought he'd turn the corner because at that point he looked like a shirker with poor discipline. He's en route to completely turning my opinion 360, good to see. He had a few very poor games but was rarely as bad as some people made out.

    Alan Pardew

Pardew said that everything went to plan. Ginola asked whether playing s**** for 60 minutes, being unable to control the ball, Tiote getting injured was all part of the plan Pardew doesn't get much credit from me. Chelsea weren't on their game at all and the individual quality of our players has saved him again. Mad that. Didn't he have us well organised, didn't he get the players to work hard for each other? I don't expect anyone to start loving Pardew all of a sudden, but he needs to get some credit. Getting a team reasonably well organised defensively and getting the players to work hard should be the minimum you expect. League one managers like Pardew do it all the time in FA cup ties against bigger clubs. Our win today was largely because of how poor Chelsea were (the worst I've seen them in a long time) and the individual quality of our players (Cabaye's free kick, Anita's excellent performance after a forced introduction due to injury).
