Hate to sound like a broken record but the isak shit has wider implications regarding how we look from the outside and from the inside (my opinion of course). I think we've had a good go at this season fighting on four fronts given the circumstances, but feel players like Sandro who will have plenty of options won't view it as any kind of progress. Agreed wissa was a miss also, but it's another one where hindsight comes into play. After last season how many of us thought he would drop off like this? I was OK with him coming in as back up (before the isak shit played out) as were many people, unfortunately he's been absolutely toss and it's all the more noticeable because we ended up having to rely on him and Nick. I still find it hard to be too critical of the recruitment team in the summer due to the fact it was an unprecedented shit show with Mitchell and Isak.

I do get a lot of the arguments but I mean howay, surely you realise that's overly harsh? As soon as we played a good team: Barcelona over 2 legs, man city over 2 legs and man city again. Not sure any team/fans in the world would go into them positive of a result.

People can want change whenever they want, but personally I think now would be an idiotic time to change. I always find the 'spent a fortune on shit' complaint a bit strange, as if those saying it are blind to the fact that we were forced into overpaying for 2 strikers out of desperation, plus the fact we didn't have anyone in place to deal with negotiations but of course, it's all Howe's fault. Granted Elanga has been a complete miss but how many of us can honestly say we seen that coming when we bought him? I was excited about him coming in as were plenty of others... Hindsight and all that. I think we'll finish top 10 still, looking at the run in, the dramatic change in our match schedule, return of players, I think we'll pick up after the break. This is why I think now would be an idiotic time to change, if we don't pick up after the break with a fit squad/more training time/less games... I'll start to question it myself.

Yet the same people who don't have that in depth knowledge know for a fact Eddie isn't capable of taking us forward despite seeing the teams he's capable of creating, just because he's had one tough/relentless season with a squad that wasn't ready to fight on 4 fronts. They're about as much to blame as Howe for it... They aren't. You can't do anything about players simply wanting to go elsewhere whether it's for more money or other reasons. However, having someone in place who's experienced in the negotiation process is probably helpful, which is on the board.

That's absolutely fine. I barely watch anything outside of us so I wouldn't have a clue. But I don't think it's wrong to ask who people think would do a better job when they've decided that the current manager needs to go, despite not being the CEO at nufc paid £1m pa to make that decision.
