Shaw should be starting for England at left back. No doubt. Been amazing this season. Seemed like City should have got back in it before half time. Game was over before 50. 15/8 for us to go down seems quite generous, to me. Just lost basically all of our attacking FRET for a good few weeks. He gets forward well and he’s a lot more comfortable on the ball than most our players. He’s also for great fitness levels. It was a daft thing to do, as he ended up gassed and couldn’t track back. But still had enough energy at the end of the game to sprint about 60-70 yards and close the keeper down. You can tell he’s not been here long and came through a proper youth setup.

We’re well and truly fucked. Two of our better players out for a few games at least, by the looks of it. No fit right back on the books. Yet again, we’ve started pretty well. Then totally blown up and looked fucked after 60 minutes. Lucky to hang on at the end. When we should have probably been out of sight before they scored. Might end up being an important point. But factoring in the injuries, the fact we went 1 up and our position. It feels like a loss.
