Think it's a f***ing joke TBH. We'll end up with Nolan, Barton, Enrique and Best all gone this summer. All did well for us last season and would usually be in the starting XI when fit. I think he would have been good as a 3rd choice striker, solid squad player and is the best finisher of our current forwards. Would get rid of the others before him, if he goes we now need 3 strikers IMO. Looking like we're having a squad overhaul and not necessarily strengthening, losing too many of our starting line up is going to make us seriously disjointed and it could be a sloppy start to the season. Are we having to sell players to raise funds for new ones?

Apparently they're close to signing Ngog, Gardner, Gibson, Westwood and the Korean fella. Sure one or two from their first XI will be on their way as well. I don't think I'd be happy if any of those signed for NUFC.

Pretty much my thoughts. That would take our spending to about £25m wouldn't it? If that happens I'd be ecstatic, I was expecting us to spend about £15m max. I can see one or two leaving though, so I have a feeling the two players we're looking to fetch in a bit later could well be replacements.

Remy is not worth what we will be made to pay for him. I was disappointed in him given how much he cost. He did show improvement as Europe moved towards spring, tbf to him, but he still never looked like a player worth fifteen million Euros. Given his improvements and high cost, I could not see OM releasing him for anything other than a large fee. We would also be a step down as he was being pursued by Spurs and clubs in France with real financial muscle. He also has a heart condition. What about the lad, Ayew? Any good? Andre Ayew or Jordan? Wouldn't have a chance of getting Andre I wouldn't have thought, he looks class!

Hmm, we have remained pretty tight lipped about transfers in the last year or two, strange that Pardew is now pretty much saying we're going for Ba and Erding. Not being skeptical like, just not used to it. Ba, Erding, Taylor and Cabaye all in before the end of June would be mental, but probably won't happen. Would make a refreshing change to get players in so early though.
