Howay, he's a young lad in his first season in the PL. He's got the attributes to make it as a decent premier league midfielder, he just needs more game time and experience. He's playing in a fairly shite side at the moment but i've got faith that he'll improve and get better with a few more decent players around him and when we have the luxury of rotating him in and out as needed.

If Lascelles can stay fit then we don't look too bad defensively. We absolutely have to get some quality in attack in the window to score and create, though. 7 without decent reinforcements, 5 with for me. Hopefully we can get them in nice and early too.

He's basically playing to his level which is 'average to not very good'. He'll make a few good saves and let a few in that he should save aswell but over a season he's not the kind of keeper that's going to have won you many points. Hopefully in January we can bring in a quality, experienced keeper as No.1 and to mentor Woodman for a season or two. Make Woodman No.2 and get rid of either blob or Darlow (not bothered which).

Playing the way we did was probably our best shot at getting something out of the game, we gave ourselves a chance at least. If Rafa had sent our championship team out to attack and play an open game we would have got absolutely mullered, shattering the players confidence and morale, hurting our goal difference and giving us no chance of even a point.
