  1. Aye, we were an absolute shambles, the players didn't give a fuck, the bottom end of the league was more competitive and we still only went down by the skin of our teeth.
  2. Isn't a 7 a 70% chance of going down? I really don't see how our probability of going down at this point can be that high given our points total so far and the dross below us. I went for a 2, think we'll dodder on to 11th - 15th place.
  3. Look, some hope! Quick, get it, get it. That's it, kick it, it's not dead yet. Gimme that bat, fucking have it hope, you bastard.
  4. Nothing wrong with the Chinese league. Standard is decent, big crowds, passionate following. Think you'll see more players coming over here to play in the near future and not just for the money.
  5. I agree, but so was Cabella, HBA, MYM and Perez. Didn't know they'd played for Forest.

Like this post a lot. Should resign then. But then again who would employ him on the same money... Tesco? McDonalds? Could go self employed and busk at Haymarket.
  7. You really hate little Vurn for some reason
  8. That's about the 9th time someone's posted that
  9. Not even a hundred million, just a quality centre half and centre forward to go with a manager and the majority of us would be fairly happy. Its frustrating when clearly we are capable of it. That's it like. I don't even want him to put any of his other money in, just let the club spend what it makes. Sure we'd be able to tempt a decent standard of manager if they thought they'd have a £50m starting transfer budget.
  10. Jesus wept. 'Ferreyra a bad move'.... Never seen an article like that just before season ticket renewal time.
  11. Possibly a little of the PSV - Ajax rivalry creeping in aswell. Would we listen to the mackem DoF talking about our players or ex-players?
  12. Aye but he would describe running out of paper as a modern day tragedy. He burns his breakfast and calls it 'a depressing and humiliating catastrophe in my life'
  13. Barca will get De Boer, Villa will get bought out by some rich, ambitious american, Martinez will get Everton into europe and Spurs will stop being shit. And we'll be sat here in two years time like cunts making our 'Sanchez Out' banners.
  14. Love a roof of the net lasher.

This is it like. We keep getting told that the club should be self sustainable and the money it makes invested in the first team and yet we're sitting on around a £50m profit and leaving areas of the team desperately short. It's obvious the actual plan is just to bank any profits and gamble on survival whilst spending the absolute bare minimum possible.
  16. But why do you think the solution to that problem is to give 100% control of transfers to a new manager? I mean had we just changed and given full control to Pardew does that fix things? We don't bring in those players he ruined, no instead we bring in utter fucking dross. Surely the better solution is to find a man who can work with Carr, a man who is a talented tactician, can motivate players, can coach a goof style of play and has a Footballing philosophy that matches Carr. What's the point of putting words in people's mouths like that? How am I putting words in his mouth? Are you talking about the fact he said "final say" and I said "100% control"? Ok, lets do this again then.. He's just said that he can't believe people don't want the new manager to have the final say on transfers and goes on to give the example of Pardew not playing some of the players bought for him as the reason for that assertion. So I'm asking why is the only solution to that problem to give the manager final say on transfers? Rather than finding a head coach who isn't a fucking dunce, who can appreciate a good player? When did I saw it was "the only solution"? It helps a manager (any manager, not just Pardew) to do his job better if he can have the final say on who is bought. I can't make it any simpler than that. As far as I can see, the role of head coach is just picking the team and motivating them. Hardly rocket science but it could be a lot easier if he can have an opinion on who he's working with. I think they generally need to do some coaching too.
  17. I was actually more upbeat after reading the thing yesterday. And everyone is ruining it for me. I just want to be cheerful. Shola's moving into your spare room btw.
