Starting to feel a bit sorry for him now. Yes, he's doing a shit job but some of the vitriol being spouted is downright vicious.
  2. Anyway, Kaiserslautern should get a shout just for so nearly having the word fuck in their crest: http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/images/d/[email protected]
  3. It'd probably help if you stopped calling them logos tbh.
  4. We should have a playoff to decide to the best logo. With loads of adverts and creationism.

I have seen nothing in his two seasons in charge to suggest we'll improve next season. The results might get a bit better (they couldnt get much worse) but we still have no discernible style further than backs to the wall and hoof it to the big lad totally unsuited to the role poacher up front. Our movement off the ball is non-existent, we have no pattern of play, our tactical changes and substitutions are baffling at best and the most damning indictment of all, he has made a group of very talented players look ordinary and one paced. It's telling that the new lads started with a bang and have gradually become more and more ineffective in almost direct proportion to the amount of time he has had to coach them. We can buy the best players in the world but if the effect of our traning and coaching sessions is to drag them down into negative mediocrity then we might as well save the money and just buy a load of cloggers.
  6. What in the name of god is going on in here these days? We spent a large part of this season and last moaning about Simpson, Willo and Obertan being weak links in the side and they were quite regularly held up as reasons why we were playing hoofball. Now we're actually seriously debating whether Simpson should play ahead of first choice french international Debuchy. At least with Obertan the alternative was probably Shola so there might be a tiny case for him (as long as you forget the existence of Adam Campbell et al). This is just lunacy.
  7. That's a shockingly poor team. We should be looking to hammer these.

    Shola Ameobi

He does a job for us to be fair. It's not his fault we've got sod all strikers.
  9. I haven't been to a game this season, it's been watching on the internet or on chinese tv with the sound down On my dodgy laptop I can barely hear the crowd, I thought it was 'Yohan Cabaye'

    Hatem Ben Arfa

    http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/8320/hatemp.jpg I think I see the problem.
  11. Has this ever actually happened? I'm starting to think the chronicle are following a different Newcastle United to the rest of us.
  12. You've turned on Ian in the perv thread and now you're pimping yourself around to neesy. You little forum whore you
  13. Black and white at home only please. I do not give a shit if you want to sell shirts, at home we play in black and white. At St James' Park too.
  14. Shares in sleeping pills fell 62% on the news the horse gobbler will be conveying somnolence.
  15. There's no way we'll set up for a draw IMO. The doubt is over what Pardew thinks is 'setting up for a win'. It's usually "keep it tight for 70 minutes then bring on Marveaux to nick it", which normally equates to us going at least one goal down before 70 minutes. I'm hoping this isn't going to be the plan. Jesus, the fact it's even seriously considered as a plan is a damning indictment of this administration.
  16. Not Cabaye. I love him as a player but he went missing when we needed him. Give it to someone with some heart. Krul or Taylor maybe. Make Shola club captain and appoint a team captain to lead on the field.
  17. On another note, if this is true (it does seem to be a quote) then I wouldn't even let Pards in the dressing room before the QPR game. I'd send in a lawyer with copies of their contracts and make sure every fucking last one of them knows the expiry date and that they will be playing championship football next season world cup or not. Motivation.
  18. Firstly, he tried to leave us for nothing at one of our lowest ebbs in years and he's our fucking captain. Secondly, he pissed off to Argentina when we needed him to go and cheer on some no mark team. Thirdly, I adore this man. He's the best central defender i've seen in a black and white shirt for years. I will name all my children Fabricio if he stays. He's an inspiration to our back line. So important to us it's not even funny. The only other player whose departure would gut me as much as Captain Colo's would be Ben Arfa.
  19. Is he definitely off? I would have thought working with Moyes again would be quite attractive to him.
  20. David Batty, Paul Bracewell. We've had a few decent defensive midfielders in the last few years.
  21. I agree entirely with this apart from Jol. He'd be an upgrade on Pards but if we're going through the hassle of changing manager we might as well aim high. Girard would be a great appointment I think although i'd love to see Ketsbaia get a chance. He's a decent young manager whose sides play nice attacking football by all accounts and he loves the toon. He'd have the fans onside 100% from day one aswell which is a big plus for a new manager. As long as he doesn't break our swanky new advertising boards I think he'd do well. Benitez would also be a good appointment for me but i'm not sure he'd come to us anyway and he'd cost a fortune. Given a choice out of the three I can't see Ashley picking Benitez. If he has an option to pay a decent manager £1m a year or £3m a year he's going to go for the cheaper option.

It'll be a valid point when Pardew has a record comparable to Ferguson's when he joined Man Utd

This again ffs. Go on, let's talk about Moyes with no context at all.

I really like Collymore, I think he's a great broadcaster. I like Adrian Durham too though so you might want to discount that on grounds of taste.
