Cabaye was willing to play against City but Pardew pulled him because his "head wasn't right". Cabaye then went in a huff and refused to play against West Ham. #truestory
Probably weren't expecting one of other players to cry off before kick off or for us to have bought someone.
How do you know that Cabaye has "cried off"?
I think this is a complete misjudgement.
He scored 16 and assisted 19 in his last two seasons in France. His conservativeness here is clearly a product of the management. The few times he has been allowed to operate primarily in the final third he's been excellent. This talk of him being a natural "deep lying playmaker" or whatever is bizarre.
