  1. Why not? Seems decent from YouTube scouting. Second top scorer in La Liga after Benzema. edit: 15 goals from 30 league appearances for Espanyol this season sounds decent. Good record previous years too.

The ‘playboy’ has 41%. So ‘The Don’, ‘Salmon Pants’ and the other (Uruguayan?) one have to stump up 59% of any costs- which they seem to be unable to do as they’re relative paupers. Plus it’s unknown exactly how much cash Kyril has to ‘play’ with- it’s likely that he only receives ‘pocket money’ and the actual lump sum is tied up.

The clue is all here… “a bit lower than I'd previously assumed“. For an alleged tax expert, assuming figures that total millions seems a little amateur to say the least.
  4. Have they? Haven’t checked the others tbf- just saw €9m net spend in 20/21 and €30m net spend this season. Guess €30m is probably a hefty chunk in L1.
  5. Bruce….’pace and flair’…..”just play”…
  6. Ineos have hardly splashed the cash at Nice since they’ve owned it?

Does it mention repairing the lift to fulfil their anti discrimination requirements? ?

As opposed to the Grumpy Oracle: “No real concerns. With lockdown, the numbers were always going to be a disaster area. For me, the operating costs still look too high, but we're probably getting close to the limit of what can be done.”

Nah, Grumps says they’re fine. And he’s an ex-spurt ye knaa.
  10. Rangnick confirmed as Austrian manager, and staying as consultant to Man Utd, working 6 days every month for them. Sounds worthwhile and meaningful.
  11. Supposedly managing Austria AND doing the Man Utd DoF job simultaneously.
  12. Don’t think he needs to get going- his attitude and application have never been in question. He just needs to stay injury free, which is obviously out of his hands and which looks unlikely to occur.
  13. If it’s been sold to Bruno like that, we’re gonna be spending a shitload of cash this summer…forget all this 50-100m talk.
  14. He’s talked a fair bit about moving to Spain previously iirc. Real maybe?
  15. As I said, he’s an ok player- just in a certain system, which I’d rather we not play. I think he wouldn’t be as good in our team, as Schneiderlin was with Man Utd following his move. A player with differing characteristics would be my choice.
  16. Livramento out for remainder of 2022 with ACL injury
  17. Hojberg reminds me of Schneiderlin. Over rated, good for certain team or style, but would struggle elsewhere. Personally I’d rather we go for athleticism and dynamism in the middle to complement a fast paced breakaway attack style, rather than a player who is sluggish and slows the play.
  18. Levy not wanting to sell, Ashley not wanting to buy…match made in heaven! ???
  19. Probably more of a ‘Levy gets what he wants or else the player doesn’t move’, like Kane, rather than ‘negotiating’ per se.
  20. Just a matter of time before some comments from the squad about him reach the press, like Ritchie and Longstaff with us.
  21. And the various kebab emporiums of Greater Manchester.
  22. “If you take my beginning as professional at Palmeiras, I played left-wing. At the academy too, national team, the Olympics. I played as a forward and moved to the front," Jesus began. "Then I was second striker [at Palmeiras]. Then I became a centre-forward. In the national team as well, things happened. That’s how I came here [City]. In my mind, I was always more of a winger than a forward." The striker continued, "I think that with my qualities, I help more from the wing than from the centre. I’ve been playing like this for the national team since the Copa America." "It’s nothing new for me, nor for many people in Brazil. But here [in England], yes. Maybe they don’t follow [Brazil National team] so much.”
