Fernandez looks a decent player, done more in this cameo than Aarons and Murphy tonight.

Didn't he start off quite well and Swansea and then get injured and never really got going again. If we got anywhere near 15 for Gayle and brought in Abraham that would be good business in my mind.

Odd he never really got a chance, but if Rafa didnt fancy him and it frees up wages then so be it. its not like he's really had too much of an impact, so we shouldnt miss him. Can see him going on to play for decent champions league clubs for the majority of his career.

Even without Vardy on the pitch he would have been very effective. Sterling and Lingard have made quite a few runs in behind that noone have the talent to pick out. Shelvey would have done so a few times and also that big arrowed switch he likes would bring a whole new dimension to this side., as the ones that do try it in this side loft it too much and its less effective. That said we're in a World cup semi, so cant complain really

I like this signing, always thought he has looked a good player. Very comfortable on both feet, good passing range, relaxed on the ball, decent positional sense and although not that quick can drive through midfielder from time to time. I'd be slightly worried about him and Shelvey as a 2 against teams with someone who drives with power and pace through the middle, but other than that I think we've signed someone who could very well with both Diame and Shelvey in a deep 2 for most games. Also after a little bit of a Dennis Wise i've just seen a video of him getting 8 goals in a season where Shelvey gets 4 of the "assists" .

I think Rafa might give this a try to be honest, get someone else to play in behind him and push Perez further forward

if he plays this way to the end of the season i think he'll be picked myself, there's often a form player that sneaks in I hope so, because i think he could make a huge difference. Teams will be more likely to keep closer to the more well known players like Kane, Alli and Sterling. Leaving him more time to pick passes out, 2 problems with that is actually getting in the squad and then actually getting onto the pitch

If he keeps up this form and doesnt get picked, it just shows dumb the FA and Southgate really are. Especially if Livermore goes

Why? If she's the type of person who phones a random fan to discuss the takeover I'd be seriously worried. I sounds like she took more information from it then giving information away. I think its crazy to pick a team solely on stats, especailly when those playing in from of him arent doing it on a match day which is when it really matters. Even with poor training stats he should have been given more of a chance, just because the others have been crap in most games

He does so many things 1st time for no reason and usually gives the ball away when he does it. I cant see how he brings anything at all to our play most of time.
