How he wasnt sent off if beyond me from one angle you can see the assistant has a clear view on it, knee high and at point of contact he's not got any control over his momentum, its more like a drop kick to the knee from a wrestling match. think being sloppy could have come from not having cabaye in the middle, when you have a number of options its easier to pick a pass. Im not excusing it at all, but at times it was only tiote showing ahead of him and he just doesn't seem the type to pump it long aimlessly.

looked tired yesterday and needs a rest, my only issue with him is that he needs be make sure his pass makes it to the player, before making his run for the one two. Seen it a fair bit now he plays his pass makes his run and his pas doesn't make it, which could leave us open i think.

I did last sunday and my knee is f***ed. I've had trouble with my knees for ages and was the best it's been for years till that game and now I can only play once a week (sat afternoon on grass) or I would be in trouble with it big time. I'm a big fan of 4g (much better than the old astro) but when it's frozen you might as well play on concrete with thin carpet on top.

Read the last few pages, it pitch could have made it worse. I played on a pretty frozen 4g pitch a few months back and it's awful to play on and destroys any niggles you have, just because it's like running on concrete. Also not sure how relevant, but a mate of mine works as a groundsman for arsenal and they don't use any 4g pitches anymore (was never told why). They're going to dig them all up and replace with grass even indoor ones.

From watching that vid, I think he may be looked at as Hatem's understudy. Looks like he wants to make things happen and has great feet when on the ball. Agreed not the finished article, but well worth 4mil (if that's what's been quoted) just on potential.

I think the fact Chelsea ran a mile shows this knee thing isn't being blown out of proportion. I can't blame Demba for wanting more security but not many clubs have taken him up on that. Don't see how they've ran a mile,they only had talks. He wont have had a medical so how would they know the full situation with his knee after one meeting. I think the main problem for us keeping him is that his basic wage demands are higher than we can afford (based on your wage structure) and after all the talk and extra fees other club aren't willing to pay it due to all this talk of his exploding knee. Like an earlier poster said, stoke found the problem with his knee then went a signed owen who is only second behind dyer for injuries.

Maybe this whole knee think is being blown out of proportion and he wants a deal that suits what he is actually achieving at the club at the minute. if he's on 20k standard and then the rest is performance based, maybe he just wants a regular deal for a striker very capable of getting 20 goals a season.I would guess pretty much every club in the league has their main striker on (basic wage wise) than him and there's only a couple better than him and less than a couple that score more goal at this point in time.

did i watch the wrong game today or something, all 3 subs made an impact. Yes i wanted marveaux on earlier, but obertan was the right choice in the end his pace saved us on one occasion and he looked decent, ameobi got the goal and looked a handful and then marveaux came on and looked good as well. Not that happy with the starting eleven, but we have a small squad with injuries and he is trying to get some of last season familiarity back.

At least we have a few positives out the game today, anita looked a class and his delivery was better than it has been, marv looked sharper when he came on and at times we played some really good stuff and pretyy much bossed the second halve till tiote came off. we need to keep this up, hopefully cisse from the end of last turns up at some point as well.

Id say more if cabaye had been playing we would have got something, him in for perch and hba for cisse would have been perfect for today.
