They're as mad as hell and they're not going to take this any more. A bit like another Beale.

Killing off 10 minutes with shithousery is one thing. Killing off a whole 45 minutes plus all the minutes added on because of that shithousery is another. With only a single goal lead it just takes one screw up or stroke of bad luck to do you in. If we'd tried to "kill off" the whole second half and it didn't work, we'd have been rightly criticized for negativity and not going for the second goal which would probably have been decisive.

Maybe. See if he puts in a transfer request next August. Doubt any club would match the salary we're paying him.

I'd tend to trust Eddie's judgment over Louise Taylor's musings.

Think we should just forfeit the rest of our games this season, get relegated, have a much easier season in the Championship and start building a new team. Or maybe the club should just disband altogether. Howay the lads.

Didn't realize he had a kid already. He's only 17 FFS.

Newcastle United vs. Manchester United: 2/12/23 @ 20:00 (TNT Sports)

"Manchester United did some good things going forward against Galatasaray in the Champions League on Wednesday, but they also did some bad things at the back. Newcastle United will feel hard done by after the way they lost to Paris St-Germain on Tuesday and I think we'll see a strong performance from them back at St James' Park. Eddie Howe's side hammered Chelsea at home last weekend and I think they will overrun Manchester United too. This could be a difficult evening for Erik ten Hag, and the end of his side's run of good results in the league. Sutton's prediction: 3-1" The BBC actually pay Chris Sutton for expert analysis like this, -
It's really hard to understand. In that last 45 minutes there were no goal celebration delays. We made no substitutions to justify added time (granted PSG did, but they did them in a tearing hurry.) No stoppages for VAR checks. No lengthy injury stoppages -- no stretchers brought out. Even if you assess 10 seconds each for delayed goal kicks, we didn't take anywhere near 48 goal kicks in 45 minutes. Seems so random.

Terminate the lot tbh.

False 2 and 3. The opposition won't be expecting that cunning plan.

She did this without gloves. I can't find any FA or FIFA rule that restricts outfield players from wearing gloves of any sort, as long as they're not adjudged to be potentially dangerous.

From BBC Sport today What a feeling two years on. "On this day two years ago, Newcastle needed a saviour. The Saudi-backed takeover had happened a month earlier, but under Steve Bruce the performances had nosedived and the Magpies were making up the numbers in the Premier League. Check out the standings on 8 November 2021. With no wins from their opening 11 games, even at this early stage, relegation was starting to look like it might be a formality. Enter 43-year-old Eddie Howe, fresh from a year away from management after some outstanding work at Bournemouth. Could he replicate what he had achieved on the south coast at a much bigger club with a far more intense level of scrutiny? In short, yes. The current Premier League table, again after 11 games, underlines the level of progress masterminded by Howe in such a short time. Sure, they are not currently in the Champions League places as per last season, but Liverpool and Tottenham have bounced back this time around and Howe’s players have been placed under much greater stress with European games against heavyweights such as Borussia Dortmund, Paris St-Germain and AC Milan to contend with. To be in the top six – after beating Arsenal last weekend no less - is and will remain a remarkable achievement. They are also the second highest scorers in the division so far this season with that goal difference of +16, far more palatable than the grotty days of shipping goals and struggling to create that Bruce oversaw. Two years on, Howe has been an unimaginable success in the Newcastle hotseat. His next challenge is to finally break that devastatingly long wait for silverware on Tyneside." Joe Bradshaw, BBC Sport
