Sorry. The Cabbage clichés still trigger me and probably always will. I can't help it. No offence. -

"Quietly confident" is such a Bruce-ism. Up there with all the stuff about dusting down, sleeves, socks and lacking a little bit of quality in the final third. It's so wonderful that he's not here spouting this shit any more. If I'm being brutally honest . . . -

Except for the Taggart bit.

Well, if the players wouldn't like it we definitely shouldn't do it.

Pretty sure he's not dead.

Seems like a lot of people on here just don't respect Wood.

Cheesemanesque, tbh.

Peacock still down

I think 90% of us would be happy with a few seasons in mid-table as long as there are signs of even incremental progress under ownership that shows a willingness to compete and treats the club and fans with respect.
-
I could see them reviving the "Big Picture" idea of reducing the Premier League to 18 clubs, for example by having just two clubs relegated from the PL and only one promoted from the Championship for the next two seasons, to reduce our chances of bouncing straight back.
-
The Louis Saha who has also been charged is no relation to the Louis Saha who once played for us.

Should be in Planes Spotting thread

Exterminated would sound better.
