I think I read earlier this week that he’s got a hamstring injury and will be out for a few weeks.

Hayden at centre back seems like another example of Bruce’s backwards management. He’s been our only reliable centre midfielder.

After a conversation the other day about how poor our centre midfielders are and have been for a while, then watching Anguissa for Fulham dominate a game last week. Can anyone remember who was the last really dominant central midfield performance from us? I’m not talking the odd game where Hayden has put himself about a bit but someone dominating a game like how Cabaye used to on a fairly regular basis. Is it really as far back as Shelvey on his debut or him v Man U on Dubravka’s debut. Diame had that half season where he was Yaya Toure for a while. We’ve really lacked that big performance from any of those midfielders

All draws for me. Any club below us winning seems to increase that ominous feeling.

That's cos he's got a square head. And he's not that good, just relatively skillful for a big lump. I quite like him. I don’t think he is as good as his fee suggests but he definitely isn’t as bad as people think were making out at the start of the season.

Awful miss by Maguire. I feel like I’ve seen him miss a ton of free headers.
