Not especially happy with our performance, but kind of to be expected with that left hand side. Jonas is a huge loss. Without Colo I panic every time they approach our defence, Sturridge is all over us. Having said that think we've looked alright at front, Obertan's done nothing but barely had it, Ben Arfa and Guthrie are doing well imo though Cabaye is having a bit of a bad game, that said did a ball into box at one point. I can see us grabbing a goal though, just think they have more goals in them.

Don't think he'd had much chance.

Cabaye's error. Stupid. Has been coming though

great cross from Guthrie

Collo coming off soon. We're doomed.

God fix the left Pardew asap

He's basically in the middle though, providing no cover for Raylor atm...

Gah, frustrating team. Hopefully Lovenkrands will prove us wrong, but baffling. Not surprised by Raylor but disappointing, understood completely when in form, now just baffling.

I hope the instruction is to Obertan to try and run past John Terry as much as possible, can see him getting several yellows for clumsily bringing him down repeatedly

It'd be a frustrating loss, especially with our current form compared to theirs. We should be able to get a draw at the least, but wouldn't be too shocked by a Chelsea with a point to prove win this, I remain optimistic though. I'm worried about us on the left, if Pardew goes Raylor and Sammy, there'd be joy to be found by them hitting us on that flank.

He's a good man manager and can see this improving Sunderland, they've obviously had issues under Bruce, however as said in article his disregard for tactics makes me wonder if their lack of any kind of identity playing may continue.

I misjudged Pardew when we appointed him, dunno how O'Neil will do, squad is not great but could do very well, we'll see

If he does well at Euros yeah sure, not of the opinion Redknapp would do any better. It's touch to call whether Capello isn't good enough at motivating players (if that's possible, so unmotivated they seem to be) or if he's unable to select players who would be motivated, and he'd likely get sacked if he didn't play 'England's bravest' who always fail to turn up

There is nothing quite so dispiriting as a Stoke break, they're so slooooow, trying to carry the ball upfield takes an aaaaaage, hoofing it takes no time but the players take a while to get up, just trying to run upfield, it's like watching a tortoise play footy. And as typing Stoke score from some shocking defending and a standard header in
