  1. Incredible to be playing one week after having your leg amputated
  2. Whatever else that chipped goal against schmeichel was a thing of beauty
  3. His falling out with Brighton might have influenced things we are very keen on the no dickheads policy
  4. Grew up in a relatively posh middle class family in North Yorkshire that was not at all interested in sport apart from tennis (I was actually ok at it). Only real football experience was got taken to a Middlesbrough match randomly in corporate box with dad who doesn't care about footy at all either. I was the nerd skipping sports at school to go to the library to play magic the gathering. Went to Uni in newcastle and football supporting new friends got me dragged into watching sport. Best mate was geordie took me to some games and got me addicted. This was however the first Ashley season we went down so picked a hell of a time to get involved...
  5. their fans were lobbing coins down at us below once at a crystal palace game, know melts in most fans do it but was noticable with them
  6. Honestly, these lot are demoralized and not playing that well, I would seriously consider starting Wilson and Isak in the formation we used at the end of the fulham game and just go for the throat. Harsh on Willock who would lose out but equally he has been playing a lot of games so a rest may not be the worst thing in the world.
  7. Salah doesnt graft that much at Liverpool either
  8. Checked Palace forums and they seem very depressed. It's amazing how I still can't quite shake the 'how are we going to manage to lose this' anticipation of games, so deeply is it ingrained. Potential loss of Bruno is big. I would totally consider the 4-4-2 we ended this game with mind since they seem low on confidence.
  9. god I hope the why aye wheel falls through, apocalyptically terrible idea, or am I alone on that? Just think will be a horrible eyesore. All good points on Everton. For the record very good mate who watched a lot of sports with is a big Everton fan and watched a few games with him in past so I alone it seems actually have a slight soft spot for them as a team, but boy it has been difficult not to laugh recently. He is basically me last season under Bruce now.
  10. He's definitely snappier in releasing the ball, suspect actually having quick passing emphasized in training might help rather than the years of just get stuck in shouted at him
  11. Definitely better with passing, wonder if bruno has been teaching him in training
  12. I feel we've all at the very least slightly lost the right to be critical there
  13. I dunno spurs provide do much comedy i cant help but have some fondness for them, terrible manager choices having lloris in goal for years and years, terrible defenders almost by tradition but also some likeable teams and players, the poch team at it's peak were great to watch
  14. I still think injuries like the one to Bruno will happen and we will sink back a bit to 5th or 6th which will be a little disappointing but shouldn't be really, I think that would have been as much as hoped for at start. Man U are good again and if they sustain that should be there or there abouts, Spurs will improve, though will need to improve a lot. Think Liverpool and Chelsea ought both to be out of it really too, 10 points when we aren't dropping many should be hard to overcome, but yes would be nice to stuff them on the pitch
  15. Indeed, though I also used to get a very annoyed at commentators fuming at pitch invasions which seemed for years always to be good natured and harmless celebrations but then last season or two some absolute melts seem to be back in the crowds across the league who think attacking players is a great idea
  16. Spurs fan kicked Ramsdale? the sheer stupidity, I love footy i'll just go get myself a stadium ban on tv lol
  17. Knowing we could lose every remaining game and probably still stay up in January is nice hah
  18. yeah was obviously not a penalty just going senile
  19. Man City bit below par in period of transition, Chelsea and Liverpool utterly shite, Spurs are pretty shite, Man U were shite for too long and we are in reality way ahead of schedule and overperforming. The stars have aligned for them but they are doing everything they need to on the pitch right now.
  20. Honestly he will be into his last year of his contract, not sure he will be in a hurry to re-sign, may move in teh summer. Who are we kidding he will go to Chelsea madly
  21. odegaard and saka are genuine worldy players
  22. I'm never sure why spurs have a "lets be shit in the first half" strategy but they both definitely do and it definitely does not work
  23. Knowing Bruno tho i bet he insisted on being there before going
