  2. He's from Essex so that's standard really.
  3. Stunned that Hans is the man to take the joke too far.
  4. Why would you even present that as an argument? Because it has more substance then 'I use my eyes'. And it shows in some respect that this supposed gulf between Lamela and Townsend just doesn't exist. No it doesn't, goals has never ever be an inclination of who is better than someone. Not to mention Lamela was s**** for Spurs for quite some time. He's finally settled though and showing the form why he was so hyped to begin with and he usually gets called up for Argentina which considering the talent they have is actually relevant. If you actually want me to explain here you go, he's better technically, he's a better passer, he's a better dribbler etc all in all he's just more talented across the board except for shooting and most of Townsend shots go in the crowd anyway. You obviously haven't seen enough of either to analyse their strengths and weaknesses properly so just pull stats out your arse.
  5. I like him too. We just need to stop the nonsense of playing him on the right. Stick him on the left and have him prioritise beating his man to deliver a ball into the box, as opposed to having to cut in from the right to shoot all the time. It's been so long we've had a winger, I think it will be a breath of fresh air. Mitrovic really needs one to get more out of his ability too. There's absolutely no suggestion that he can do any of that though, his entire career has been based on being a really really s*** version of Robben. Sure he played on the left originally. No reason why he wouldn't be able to. Most wide players can play on their stronger side. Not necessarily, a lot of them are more comfortably cutting inside and shooting.

  7. Amazing how we gave Ben Arfa away for nothing but if we did spend 12m on Townsend that would make 36m trying to replace him and still not come close.
  8. Barring that great start they had under him he's been nothing special IMO: considering he has had quite a good squad to work with; the football has been dull Can't agree with that, it's mostly past it garbage or straight garbage to begin with. There's a couple of decent players in there but the only outstanding player is probably Pjanic. There's nothing special about their team IMO.
  9. They'll probably appeal and get a dispensation to buy this summer, like us. They will go nuts. Probably a stupid thought on my behalf but they'll have to delay it a lot longer, reason Barca were able to was because the punishment was handed down in April and the appeal went to court in August. Madrid would have to delay it for 6 months minimum for that to actually happen. AKA
  10. I don't really care tbh. Don't think either of them enjoy English football much. Neither of them have shown either the strength or courage to ride a tackle in the way Ben Arfa did. That's the point, he's never had the chance to prove it either way.
  11. Considering that there is plenty of examples to the contrary I disagree completely.
  12. Really disappointed how little the club has given a chance to Cabella and Thauvin. They might not be good enough but they haven't even be given a chance yet the same garbage play every week.
  13. Alvaro (Espanyol): "I told Messi he's really small and he replied I'm really bad. We're both right, no problem, stays on the pitch"
  14. Aye Barca struggle to actually control games when he's in the middle instead of Busquets and it forces Messi far too deep. Great player though even if his skill set isn't particularly suited to the way Barca play as a midfielder.
  15. No idea who that Gabbiadini bloke is but considering he plays for Napoli it's safe to assume he isn't a starter.
  16. Bit harsh, especially considering the surface Yeah suppose.
